**POSITION SUMMARY**
Patrol all areas of the property; assist guests with room access. Monitor Closed Circuit Televisions, perimeter alarm system, duress alarms, and fire life safety system. **Essential responsibilities and daily duties include:**
+ Provide maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair for various Mine Warfare systems onboard military vessels owned by the Egyptian Navy.
+ Provide subcontractor oversight and on-the-job training to the Egyptian national workforce.

+ Provide training to the shipboard crews on the operation and maintenance on mine hunting ROV's and sonar, consoles, and associated ancillary equipment.
+ Support Alteration and Installation Team (AIT) processes to include equipment upgrades, system updates, and work with other partners and vendors.
+ Operate, test, and demonstrate troubleshooting and maintaining of a wide variety of electrical and electronic equipment aboard ships.
+ Provide a detailed report on findings, required repair parts, and recommendations.
+ Participate as a member of the Amentum TAT in close coordination with the TAT Manager.

**Minimum Requirements**
+ High School diploma or GED.
+ 6 years of experience supporting the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of U.S. Navy Mine Hunting Systems.
+ Expertise at a Subject Matter Expert (SME) level of knowledge on U.S. Naval MHC's and future MCM's to include the A/N SQQ-32 V3, V4, and V3+ sonar and various ROV's.
+ Working knowledge of NAVSEA standard items as applicable to intermediate and depot level repair procedures, repair, and maintenance standards, quality assurance specifications, and proper use of IMA industrial machinery.
+ Work under limited supervision and have strong mine warfare knowledge and experience.
+ Ability to independently solve problems, interpret schematics, use manufacturers manuals, and use knowledge of electronic circuit theory to troubleshoot systems.
+ Working knowledge with AIT processes to include equipment upgrades, system updates, and working with other partners and vendors.
+ Proficiency with basic computer operation with the ability to create and maintain various reports and spreadsheets.
+ Ability to use hand and precision measurement tools, and a thorough knowledge of standard shipyard practices.

**What will I be doing?**
As a Security Officer, you are responsible for monitoring and controlling staff entrances, patrolling on a regular basis, and managing undesirable behaviour to deliver a safe Guest and Member experience. **Valued skills and experience**:

- Proven ability to define, implement and measure effective incident response playbooks and a cybersecurity culture program

A Security Officer monitors, and observes security procedures to ensure a safe Guest and Member experience and managing instances of undesirable behaviour.
**What will I be doing?**
As a Security Officer, you are responsible for monitoring and controlling staff entrances, patrolling on a regular basis, and managing undesirable behaviour to deliver a safe Guest and Member experience. A Security Officer will also be required to support evacuation procedures. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
- Monitor and control staff entrances
- Conduct regular searches of bags, etc. carried by members of staff and report discrepancies or violations immediately
- Control the Goods pass out procedure for any items purchased, loaned, or otherwise legitimately obtained
- Maintain system that monitors contractors working in the hotel in accordance with company health and safety policies
- Responsible for checking goods received out of hours
- Maintain system that records the issue and receipt of departmental keys
- Operate, check and monitor the CCTV system
- Patrol the hotel on a regular basis ensuring fire walks take place and are recorded
- Support evacuation of the hotel during fire alarm situations
- Monitor suspicious packages and be aware of bomb and terror threat procedures
- Provide secure storage for guest oversized items
- Ensure hotel facilities and function rooms remain secure and locked when not in use
- Maintain the Security Log Book and Incident Reports
- Manage undesirable behaviour in a professional manner, intervening and defusing potential altercations
- Liaise with Police in the absence of Security Team Leader
- Report any maintenance or hazard issues to the supervisor on duty
- Adhere to all Health and Safety Regulations
