**Key Responsibilities**:
The Assistant Lecturer play a pivotal role in assisting the academic teaching process in order to provide high-quality undergraduate teaching and student support services, including review sessions, holding office hours, leading field trips, uploading course materials and grades to e-learning portals/ website. ALs may be required to attend instructor’s lectures regularly, etc.
**Job Requirements**:
- Master's Degree in Physical Therapy - Specialized in Neurology.
- High presentation and communication skills.
- Excellent command of English language skills.
- Excellent computer skills (Proficient user of MS Office and Internet).
- Leadership skills and loyalty.
- High level of interpersonal skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team across both the education and service sectors.
- Ability to work positively and cooperatively with students, internal and external teams, and agencies.
- Proven ability, commitment, and passion for engaging in research activities.

Field work may be in various settings such as hospitals, primary healthcare centers, community health clinics, and non-profit social services organizations and our PS Center in October City. There may be times when the position holder is required to work on the weekends or evenings and undertake other duties which are broadly in line with the above responsibilities.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Conduct initial assessments through psycho-diagnostic interviews with caregivers, children, and adolescents, and use rating scales and standardized tools when needed, to provide diagnosis, case formulation, and treatment plan
onduct brief models of counseling and psychotherapy including but not limited to cognitive behavioral therapy, play therapy, child-interaction therapy, and other evidence-based approaches for children and adolescents
Follow up on the psychological progress of the patients and implement concrete treatment plans in collaboration with children/adolescents and their caregivers
Coordinate with school counselors and other service providers, when required
Coordinate with the interdisciplinary team, including the psychiatrist and the case management team, to provide holistic and multidisciplinary care
Conduct mental health awareness sessions or group support sessions as needed
Provide psychotherapy for emotional and behavioral difficulties for children and adolescents referred after assessment by the Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist
Follow a CBT model for therapy including Trauma-focused CBT when needed
Provide caregivers with parental guidance and coaching, and guidance on behavioral management when needed
Provide group therapy for children and adolescents that can benefit from sessions addressing certain skills, such as coping and relaxation techniques
Attend meetings with team members to discuss the treatment plan and progress of therapy
Advocate for the best interest of children with other members of the interdisciplinary team and within the healthcare provider to ensure children’s and families’ informed decision-making, consent, concordance with plans of care, and quality of life
Identify child protection and SGBV concerns
Address family systems issues, including the impact of healthcare concerns, illness, and disease on family relationships; life cycles; and caregiving roles and support models
Keep a record of clinical encounters through various forms in accordance with using INARA’s digital platforms and tools to ensure proper documentation < r> P rform data collection and documentation for Monitoring & Evaluation and reporting purposes
Reporting
Reports to the Health program coordinator on a regular basis through weekly catch ups
Working environment
Located in Cairo, Egypt the working environment will be a combination of both field and office-based work
There may be times when the position holder is required to work on the weekends or evenings and undertake other duties which are broadly in line with the above.
Requirements
A bachelor’s degree in clinical psychology and licensed to practice. < r> A least 4 years of experience in health projects and case management.
Proficiency in Arabic and English is required.
Excellent oral and written communication and reporting skills.
Competence in Microsoft office, and data collection tools.
Decision-making skills for acting on policies and strategies.
Egyptian Citizenship is Required
