Position Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Plant Accountant to join our team at the Amreya site in Alexandria. This role is essential in providing accurate financial reporting, managing cost accounting activities, and supporting decision-making across operations. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams and ensure financial control within a fast-paced FMCG manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
+ Perform day-to-day plant accounting duties, ensuring compliance with internal controls and company policy.
+ Support month-end close processes including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
+ Prepare cost analysis reports and evaluate production and operational efficiencies.
+ Monitor inventory movements, perform stock reconciliations, and assess inventory valuations.
+ Collaborate with supply chain and production teams to identify cost-saving opportunities.
+ Assist in annual budgeting and periodic forecasting for the site.
+ Ensure compliance with tax, audit, and legal financial requirements.
+ Maintain accurate and timely financial records using ERP systems (e.g., ISCALA, Oracle).
+ Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
What we are looking for
+ Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
+ Minimum 3 years' experience in accounting; cost accounting experience is a strong advantage.
+ Experience in the FMCG or manufacturing sector.
+ Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., ISCALA, Oracle, SAP) and Microsoft Excel.

**Position overview:**
You will be part of Plant Finance team, mainly responsible for General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Taxation and participation in monthly/quarterly internal controls and SOX reporting.
