We are seeking an experienced Lead Wireless Network Engineer with a strong background in designing and troubleshooting advanced wireless networks using platforms such as Aruba, Commscope, Ruckus, Extreme, and Meraki. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in Wi-Fi implementation and troubleshooting and will serve as the lead engineer for a team of 30 lower-level infrastructure engineers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Advanced Wireless Network Design and Deployment:
• Design, plan, and implement advanced wireless networks utilizing Aruba, Commscope, Ruckus, Extreme, and Meraki platforms.
• Lead complex Wi-Fi deployments, ensuring optimal coverage, capacity, and performance across various environments.
• Conduct advanced site surveys using tools such as Ekahau or AirMagnet to ensure accurate wireless network planning and execution.
• Troubleshooting and Optimization:
• Serve as the go-to expert for troubleshooting advanced wireless network issues, including interference, connectivity, and performance problems.
• Optimize wireless network configurations to enhance performance, security, and reliability.
• Provide tier 3 support for complex wireless network issues that require expert-level attention.
• Team Leadership and Collaboration:
• Lead and mentor a team of 30 lower-level infrastructure engineers, providing guidance, training, and support on wireless network design and troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate wireless networks with existing wired infrastructure and ensure seamless network operations.
• Oversee the implementation of best practices and standard operating procedures for the engineering team.
• Security and Compliance:
• Implement and manage wireless security protocols, including WPA3 and RADIUS, across all wireless platforms.
• Documentation and Reporting:
• Create and maintain detailed documentation for wireless network designs, configurations, and troubleshooting procedures.
• Provide regular reports on network performance, incidents, and project progress to senior management.
• Certifications:
• Certified Wireless Network Expert (CWNE) or Certified Wireless Network Professional (CWNP).
• Cisco Certified Network Associate Wireless (CCNA Wireless).
• Relevant certifications in Aruba, Commscope, Ruckus, Extreme, or Meraki platforms are highly desirable.
• Experience:
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Wi-Fi implementation, design, and troubleshooting, specifically using Aruba, Commscope, Ruckus, Extreme, and Meraki platforms.
• Proven experience leading engineering teams and managing complex wireless network projects.
• Skills and Competencies:

Position Overview:

The Network &Wireless
Design Engineer is responsible for Enterprise Network &Wireless solutions info various environments, including corporate, educational, entertainment, and public spaces. This role involves collaborating with clients, project managers, and other stakeholders to determine system requirements, create design plans, and ensure successful project implementation. The Network &Wireless Engineer should have expertise in designing solutions that incorporate all levels of Network System including wireless.

Key Responsibilities:

1.Advanced Technical Support for Sales:

• Collaborate closely with the sales team to understand and analyze detailed customer requirements, offering deep technical insights and recommendations.
• Develop comprehensive proposals, quotations, and tender responses, ensuring technical accuracy and addressing client specifications.

2.Complex Solution Design:

• Design and develop advanced Network &Wireless Engineer, including complex integration of networking components.
• Create detailed technical documentation, schematics, and system architecture diagrams for proposed Network &Wireless solutions.
• Conduct thorough site surveys to identify installation challenges and requirements, proposing innovative solutions.

3.Technical Presentations and Demonstrations:

• Prepare and deliver in-depth technical presentations and demonstrations to clients, showcasing the capabilities and advantages of proposed Network &Wireless solutions.
• Address high-level technical queries and provide detailed explanations to both technical and executive-level audiences.

4.In-Depth Vendor and Product Knowledge:

• Maintain and continuously update expert-level knowledge of Network &Wireless industry trends, products, and cutting-edge technologies ( ex – Cisco, Aruba ,Juniper , Huawei).
• Develop and sustain relationships with key Network &Wireless Engineer vendors and suppliers, staying informed about the latest innovations and product developments.

5. Project and Technical Collaboration:

• Work closely with project managers, engineers, and installation teams to ensure seamless transition from the sales phase to project implementation.
• Provide advanced technical guidance during the installation and commissioning of Network &Wireless systems, ensuring compliance with design specifications and client expectations.

6. Client Engagement and Support:

• Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients by providing exceptional pre-sales and post-sales technical support.
• Conduct follow-up meetings with clients to ensure satisfaction with installed Network &Wireless systems and identify opportunities for further enhancements or additional services.

Qualifications:

• Education:
  Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Communications, or a related field. Equivalent experience may be considered.
• Experience:
  Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Network &Wireless system design, preferably in corporate, education, or entertainment sectors.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in using Applications for Network &Wireless system design.
• Strong knowledge of Network &Wireless system.

Certifications:

• Certifications from major Network &Wireless manufacturers (e.g Cisco, Aruba, Juniper, Huawei,) are highly desirable.
• Certified Technology Specialist (CTS)
  – Prefered
• Soft Skills:
  Strong problem-solving ability, excellent communication, attention to detail, and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
