As a Junior Accounts Payable Accountant you will be asked to:
- Review invoices for appropriate documentation using three-way matching.
- Prepare the payments for all due invoices.
- Perform invoice and general-ledger data entry.
- Maintain copies of vouchers, invoices or correspondence necessary for files
- Handling daily Petty cash.
- Create vendors on the Procurement system and ensure that all documents. related to the vendor are completed.
- Helping other departments in creating purchase orders when necessary.
- Obtain and print signatures on all checks.
- Record All invoices related to the Fixed Assets.
- As needed, assist with other accounting projects
- Support in the internal and external Audit tasks.

Posts manual outgoing cash payments and incoming miscellaneous cash received, as needed. Charges out to units as appropriate. Assures that all transactions recorded reconcile to reports.
Closes/balances cash with Corporate, monthly.
Responsible for the monthly creation of inter-company invoices and statements.
Accrues for goods in transit.
Assists in confirming inter-company balances across multiple units.
For lockboxes in non-USD, assures all cash is properly recorded and creates monthly JE for FX adjustment.
Coordinates uploads of transactional cash details from bank to SAP.
Assists with monthly closing process, as needed.
Perform special projects and ad-hoc reporting as required
Assists with Sales & Use tax filings
Performs all other duties as assigned.
