Job Title
: IT Manager

Role Overview
:

• Supervise development, operation and maintenance of all items related to information technology (IT) in the company and maintain security and secrecy of available information and automate the company systems through the most updated programs which are compatible with the nature of the company work and control their implementation.
• Contribute effectively in the achievement of company goals.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategy:

1.1. Define and develop IT strategies which should be compatible with the business strategy of the company in order to ensure vertical and horizontal integration and liaison with other departments according to the general objectives and strategic plans of the company.

1.2. Participate in the development and preparation of the company vision, mission and objectives.

1.3. Follow up implementation of the strategic and operational plan of information technology management.

2. Policies, Operation and Procedures:

2.1. Prepare IT policies and implement the relevant rules, regulations and procedures pertaining to the same so as to ensure optimum use of the IT infrastructure and supply the required equipment's and their operation mechanisms and replace such equipment's them besides all issues related to the communication system and electronic archiving.

2.2. Participate and recommend the introduction of improvements for developing the policies, operations, procedures and systems.

3. Planning and Preparation of Budgets:

3.1. Prepare department plans and budgets and follow their implementation.

3.2. Decide the required needs of IT infrastructure including equipment's, devices, programs and financial applications according to the IT estimated budget of the company.

3.3. Prepare consultancy studies for the company needs of programs and equipment's which are compatible with the company business.

4. IT Applications:

4.1. Supervise the supply and development of the systems and applications which are compatible with the business nature of the company and decide the time lines for implementing them and train the users for operating them.

4.2. Prepare technical studies for the company needs of programs and equipment's which are compatible with the company business.

4.3. Provide his/her technical opinion about the purchase of systems and equipment's which are compatible with operational tasks of the various departments and sectors of the company.

5. Information Secrecy and Security:

5.1. Prepare polices related to information secrecy and security systems in order to maintain and protect the information.

5.2. Supervise the process of designing the documentary circles for data entry and procedures of the work and document such procedures and decide the authorities that shall have access to such information and the rights of users and take necessary action to ensure confidentiality and protection of the information systems.

6. Technical Support:

6.1. Extend technical consultancy to the company departments and supervise training of users on the new systems and follow up solutions of all the problems that encounter the work progress.

6.2. Continuous supervision of the central computer (Servers), the network and technical support to ensure completion of the work in the best possible manner.

6.3. Direct supervision of IT systems of the company and their maintenance and extend necessary technical support for use by the employees.

7. Control and Monitoring:

7.1. Follow up performance through performance measurements and compare actual performance with the planned objectives and budgets and analyze reasons of deviations if any.

7.2. Control the use of IT means and company works and assets and ensue their best use and safety.

7.3. Supervise periodic inspection of the system and the network and periodic maintenance works.

7.4. Supervise the process of activation and monitoring of the company web site and develop and update the same from time to time.

7.5. Technical supervision of the IT specialist (systems administrator).

8. Reporting:

8.1. Review all the reports and ensure their accuracy and correctness to ensure their compliance with the company policies and measures.

8.2. Prepare periodic and annual reports statements and lists and all other required statistical data.

9. Communication and external relations:

9.1. Develop and maintain effective work relationships to ensure effective and quick flow of the required information and data in order to facilitate decision taking on time.

9.2. Establish and maintain business relations with IT companies and extend necessary professional and technical opinions while contracting with the IT companies and rank them.

9.3. Discuss and exchange ideas with other department managers for supplying all the equipment's necessary for the accomplishment of the work and supervise their development.

9.4. Coordinate business relations with other departments of the company and respond to their requirements of IT infrastructure.

9.5. Ensure enumeration and supply of all the company requirements of technologies, programs, equipment's and applications on time and maintain sufficient stock of the same.

Qualifications:

1. Experience of (8) years in his field of work and at least (2) years out of which in a supervision job.
2. Complete knowledge of computer programs and software and the international and local.
3. Professional certificates: ITIL+
