Job purpose:

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Technical Product Owner to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the product backlog, and working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products that meet market needs and company goals. Key Responsibilities:

  1. Product Backlog Management:

  3. Ensure that the backlog is transparent, visible, and understood by the team.
  4. Break down complex features into manageable user stories.

  5. Cross-functional Collaboration:

  7. Collaborate with sales, operation, risk and compliance teams to gather feedback and ensure product success.
  8. Facilitate communication between stakeholders and the development team.

  9. Agile Practices:

  10. Participate in agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.

  11. Continuously refine and improve agile processes within the team.
  12. Act as a liaison between the business and the technical team.

  13. Stakeholder Management:

  14. Engage with stakeholders to understand their needs and expectations.

  15. Provide regular updates on product status, progress, and future plans.
  16. Manage stakeholder expectations and prioritize conflicting requirements.

  17. User Experience and Requirements:

  18. Develop detailed user stories and acceptance criteria.

  19. Ensure that user experience is a key consideration in product development.
  20. Validate product features and functionality through user testing and feedback.

Qualifications:

  • BSc in Computer Science, Engineering or similar field
  • 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner or similar role in a technology-driven environment.
  • Strong understanding of agile methodologies and principles.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
  • Experience with product management tools such as Jira.
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
  • Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or similar certification is a plus.
