**Your Role**:
- The Digital Lead drives the planning, execution, measurement and optimization of Merck Egypt Brand digital campaigns, tactics, and programs by collaborating with Marketing, Medical managers, and agencies to pull through brand strategy and meet objectives.
- Drives seamless interaction between the Brand (Marketing, Medical, Access) teams, Business, BT and agencies.
- Partners with Marketing & Product Managers on development of brand digital strategy delivering channel insights and tactical recommendations and leading execution of digital brand campaigns, tactics and programs to drive operational effectiveness, business impact and, meet objectives and leverage Digital Capabilities, standards and best practices. Reports to: Cairo Site Leader; and a member of Cairo Site Leadership Team (SLT).
Position Purpose: Provides leadership for the Production Operations at Cairo manufacturing organization to deliver on core pillars of compliance, safety, quality, supply, cost, people, and community.
Key responsibilities:
- Work closely with Supply Chain Planning team to ensure the availability of products based on changing commercial requirements and opportunities.
- Monitor the production schedule execution.
- Ensure rapid and effective resolution of manufacturing related issues through working with related stakeholders including global functions (Quality, Technical Services, etc.)
- Work closely with different stakeholders (Global Technical Services, Quality, Planning, Engineering) for the selection of required equipment based on capacity planning and utilization; identify project and resources requirements.
- Coordinate with Supply Chain Planning and Engineering teams for scheduling of preventive maintenance and timely availability of utilities/breakdown/repairs of equipment.
- Coordinate with other leaders to drive efficiencies within Cairo operations.
- Ensure that goals and objectives of the production operations are achieved, and make effective operational decisions to positively impact objectives.
- Responsible for production operational performance management systems and metrics and the issue identification, resolution, and/or escalation as necessary.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with SLT members and other internal customers.
- Ensure an effective Talent Management process for talent identification, talent development and coaching, performance management and succession planning.
- Partner with HR to ensure that all the people related issues, and union matters are managed appropriately based on the local labor law.

- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills demonstrated aptitude and attitude to get involved in resolution of technical challenges and operational improvements.

Education/Experience
