**Role purpose**:
Agile Coach is a challenging and exciting profile that helps teams and individuals not only to implement Agile practices but also to improve way of working. Agile coach shall support the organization to rethink, challenge and improve the way of the development.
Agile Coach is responsible for executing the Agile strategy by motivating the team for Agile practices through providing appropriate examples and explanations.
**Key accountabilities and decision ownership**:
- Coach the Agile team on how to adopt agile methodologies, also help the team to challenge the current environment limitations.
- Provide a non-judgemental individual perspective to team members through observing their interactions, communications and reactions.
- Consulting and Facilitating team activities to help solving team conflicts and increase delivery efficiency.
- Mentor and support new Scrum Master/s on boarding.
- Execute and Consult Agile Transformation across all Organization levels.
- Ensure Agile Best practices are shared, customized and implemented as part of continuous delivery improvement cycle.
**Core competencies, knowledge and experience**:
- BSc level degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or Telecommunications.
- Understanding of Telecom IT technologies & architecture is a plus.
- Strong interest & skills in software development for internet, mobile and/or communications technology
- Excellent communication, presentation & reporting skills in English (both written and spoken)
- Proven track record of managing complex projects with agile methodology & CDI tools.
- Certified ICAgile or Scrum Alliance Coach.
**Must have technical / professional qualifications**:
- Experience in playing the agile coach role for at least one year for a software development Organization.
- Exceptional communication, organization, and team building skills; articulate and able to steer a meeting with presence.
- Ability to maintain calm attitude during difficult situations and handle pressure situations.
- Creative and efficient in proposing solutions to complex, time-critical problems.
- Strong team player with an ability to identify and remove impediments or conflicts that interfere with the ability of the team to deliver the sprint & project goals.
- Self-starter & self-motivated with a drive to identify opportunities for improvement across the agile delivery processes.
- Highly independent, takes ownership, does not need to be told what to do and seeks feedback and execute actions. A strong technical background and ability to understand architecture, source code & technical issues to drive effective agile delivery.
- Expert level knowledge of CDI tools, such as, Jira, GIT, Confluence, Jenkin etc.
- Experience with multi-device & enterprise developments based on technologies, such as, Java, Oracle Databases, ITIL and SOA.
