About the Role

We are seeking a skilled
Network Design Modeler/Engineer
with proven experience in the
design and modeling of structured cabling systems
. The ideal candidate will have expertise across one or more technology domains such as
Data, Security, Audiovisual (AV), Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS), and related low-voltage systems
. This role requires both technical depth in structured cabling and the ability to produce high-quality BIM/Revit models that integrate seamlessly within multi-discipline environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and model structured cabling systems, including pathways, cable trays, and device layouts, within Revit or similar BIM platforms.
• Develop design drawings, single-line diagrams, and system schematics for low-voltage networks (Data, Security, AV, DAS, etc.).
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and MEP teams to ensure accurate integration of network systems into overall building design.
• Interpret client requirements, technology standards, and manufacturer specifications into practical design and model outputs.
• Support clash detection, design reviews, and coordination meetings.
• Maintain structured cabling documentation, including bill of materials, device schedules, and labeling standards.
• Stay current on industry standards (TIA/EIA, BICSI, NFPA, etc.) and best practices for structured cabling and converged network systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3+ years of experience in structured cabling design and BIM modeling.
• Proficiency in
  Revit, AutoCAD, and related BIM tools
  .
• Familiarity with standards:
  TIA/EIA-568, BICSI, NEC/NFPA codes
  .
• Experience designing at least one of the following systems:
• Data networks (LAN/WAN, fiber, copper)
• Electronic security systems (CCTV, Access Control, IDS)
• Audiovisual (conference rooms, multimedia, sound systems)
• Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS) or Wireless Infrastructure
• Strong understanding of structured cabling topologies and pathway management.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively across multi-disciplinary teams.

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)

• BICSI RCDD or equivalent certification.
• Experience with Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) or other CDE platforms.
• Knowledge of PoE-based systems and converged networks.
• Hands-on project experience with mission-critical facilities (data centers, hospitals, airports, etc.).

1. Design and develop detailed schematics for wiring and cabling layouts to support network infrastructure projects.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.

1. Minimum of 3 years of experience in network engineering, with a focus on drawing schematics for wiring and cabling and using echo planning tools for Wi-Fi coverage or similar technologies.

2. Strong knowledge of network design principles, protocols, and best practices in a complex enterprise environment.

3. Familiarity with network platforms such as Aruba, Cisco, Meraki, and Ruckus, with hands-on experience in configuring and deploying network equipment.

4. Proficiency in network monitoring and troubleshooting tools to diagnose and resolve network issues efficiently.

5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and vendors.

Certifications:

• Provide advanced technical guidance during the installation and commissioning of Network &Wireless systems, ensuring compliance with design specifications and client expectations.

6. Client Engagement and Support:

Qualifications:

• Education:
  Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Communications, or a related field. Equivalent experience may be considered.
• Experience:
  Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Network &Wireless system design, preferably in corporate, education, or entertainment sectors.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in using Applications for Network &Wireless system design.
• Strong knowledge of Network &Wireless system.

Certifications:

• Certifications from major Network &Wireless manufacturers (e.g Cisco, Aruba, Juniper, Huawei,) are highly desirable.
• Certified Technology Specialist (CTS)

• Soft Skills:

, you can expect to be involved in the following:

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, implementation, and management of Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) solutions, such as Zscaler Private Access (ZPA) or Palo Alto Networks Prisma Access, for diverse clients across various industries.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments of client network architectures, security postures, and remote access needs to identify risks and design tailored ZTNA solutions.
• Develop and implement detailed ZTNA deployment plans, including network segmentation strategies, access policies, application segmentation, and integration with existing security infrastructure (e.g., IAM, MFA, SIEM).
• Provide technical expertise and hands-on experience in configuring, deploying, and troubleshooting ZTNA solutions like Zscaler ZPA or Palo Alto Prisma Access.
