Duties & Responsibilities:
- Design Fire & Gas Detection and Alarm system for Oil & Gas plants in addition to construction buildings as per local and international Codes NFPA, API, etc.
- Prepare Fire & Gas Design layout, Philosophy and Basis of design.
- Prepare Fire & Gas Equipment Datasheets and Equipment Specifications.
- Prepare Fire & Gas Detection system I0 list, cable schedule, cable route, wiring diagram and cause & effect.
- Prepare Fire & Gas Equipment MTO and also Equipment MRQs for client purchase order
- Prepare Technical Bid Evaluation report and Review vendor print submittals.
- Coordinating with other engineering disciplines such as mechanical, electrical and instrumentation & control to ensure a coordinated and integrated design;
- Ensuring compliance with industry codes and standards;
- Supporting the procurement and construction activities, including vendor selection, bid evaluation and technical bid analysis.
- Prepare feasibility, FEED and detailed engineering studies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Engineering Degree (Mechanical, Electrical or equivalent) with Fire Alarm & Detection design experience in O&G is a must.
- Minimum 3-5 years of Fire & Gas Detection and Alarm system DESIGN preferable in Oil & Gas industry.
