Role Purpose

  • Overseeing and coordinating various planning functions, including demand and supply planning, production and transport planning, material replenishment planning etc.

  • Translate forecasts into inventory plan as well as manage inventory levels to reduce carrying costs while meeting customer demand by balancing orders, demand and material inventory data together with Procurement and Warehousing Team (safety stock, reorder points, etc.)
  • Involved in the SLA creation for Supply Chain matters.
  • Identify possible future capacity constraints & bottlenecks in the SC.
  • Measure, analyze & report key performance indicators (KPIs) related to planning.
  • Analyze data to identify areas for improvement & cost reduction.
  • Lead and mentor a team of supply chain planners incl. setting clear performance objectives and provide regular feedback.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.

Also accountable for completing the Monthly Materials Plan for 24-month rolling horizon for SKUs using the production plan and Suppliers' feedback as key inputs to ensure supply. Utilites escalation path to MRP Planning Lead & Procurement for any material issue that may become a potential risk.

This role will be recruited for CCC and its positioned as super user with MRP experience needed

Responsibilities
Materials Planning:

  • Create Monthly MRP Plan based on production needs and available inventories
  • Ensures MRP plan is shared (Country Front End) with Bern Make planning organization for relevant SKU's
  • Identify risks and opportunities and propose constrained scenarios to maximize service (liaising with MRP Planning Coordinator, Suppliers and Procurement if applies)
  • Validate production and material plans in Weekly Plan Review Meeting
  • Validate medium- and long-term material availability based on supplier feedback
  • Monitor PR conversions and release of POs to suppliers
  • Monitor Suppliers' performance and feedback to Procurement

Working Capital Management:

  • Check materials' availability and propose actions for excess / shortages
  • Create inventory projections for RMPM ensuring alignment to targets. Analyse gaps and propose mitigation actions

Business Waste Management:

  • Review weekly provision snapshot to be shared with Finance
  • Create business waste projections for RMPM to minimize no-consumption risks (zero-based plan).

Qualifications
Experience: A minimum of 1-3 years of proven experience in supply planning or material planning.

System Knowledge: At least 2 years of demonstrated experience as a super user in an ERP system such as SAP, Oracle, or similar MRP software.

Education: A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, or Logistics.

Leadership: Proven leadership skills and the ability to train or guide others on system functionality and business processes.

Technical Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data management tools.

Communication: Fluent in English, with excellent communication and collaboration skills to work across functions and geographies.

Methodology: A strong understanding of end-to-end planning processes and supply chain methodologies.

Supply Chain Planning Supervisor

Mission/Scope
The Supply Chain Planning Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the efficient and uninterrupted supply of raw materials, packaging materials, and finished goods by developing and executing robust demand and supply planning strategies. This role acts as a key interface between production, procurement, quality, and commercial teams to optimize inventory levels, ensure timely production schedules, and meet customer service levels while maintaining compliance with pharmaceutical regulatory standards. The Planning Supervisor drives continuous improvement in planning processes to support operational efficiency and business growth.

ACCOUNTABILITIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support in setting supply chain strategies & policies to achieve Servier 3vs & business plan.
  • Run & roll monthly master planning with 18 months horizon and monitor / analyze actual sales performance vs. budget, forecast, & customer orders.
  • Responsible for ensuring adequate stock to meet Master Production Schedule (MPS) & Material Requirements Planning (MRP)
  • Participate in production & capacity planning activities to maximize the utilization of resources, meeting production schedules, volume, cost, waste, customer service & inventory levels targets.
  • Issue / review detailed production schedules & work orders in accordance with required volumes, plant capacity and materials availability.
  • Determine & review stocking & ordering policies periodically.
  • Determine the quantity and order date for materials needed to meet the master production schedule. initiates purchase or production requisitions as appropriate.
  • Participate in introducing / phasing out of product / formula to prevent stock out & obsolete risks in compliance with feasibility, regulations, market concerns & plant constraints.
  • Responsible for order fulfillment process; including following up on batches release dates, order picking on ERP, & evacuation from warehouse.

Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or Pharmacy.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in a supply chain planning or related role within a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment, with a solid understanding of production processes, GMP compliance, and material flow.
  • Demonstrated performance record with consistent ratings of "Meets Expectations" or above (e.g., YDR 2022–2023 and 2023–2024) for internal candidates.
  • Advanced education or certification in Supply Chain Management (e.g., MBA, APICS CPIM/CSCP) is an asset.

  • Analytical Thinking & Root Cause Identification: Uses data to support planning decisions and systematically investigates issues to uncover underlying causes.
  • Effective Cross-Functional Collaboration: Communicates clearly and consistently with key departments such as Production, Quality, Procurement, Regulatory Affairs, and Commercial to ensure alignment and smooth operations.
  • High Attention to Detail: Maintains precision and accuracy in developing production schedules and material requirements, reducing the risk of errors.
