Role Purpose

This role is responsible for leading the weekly Make planning cycle from materials requirements in Cairo capability center , creating and releasing the Material Plan for particular categories.

MRP plan will also need to be issued to the Bern Make planning Organisation on a agreed frequency.

• Responsible for order fulfillment process; including following up on batches release dates, order picking on ERP, & evacuation from warehouse.

Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or Pharmacy.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in a supply chain planning or related role within a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment, with a solid understanding of production processes, GMP compliance, and material flow.
• Demonstrated performance record with consistent ratings of "Meets Expectations" or above (e.g., YDR 2022–2023 and 2023–2024) for internal candidates.
• Advanced education or certification in Supply Chain Management (e.g., MBA, APICS CPIM/CSCP) is an asset.

• Analytical Thinking & Root Cause Identification: Uses data to support planning decisions and systematically investigates issues to uncover underlying causes.
• Effective Cross-Functional Collaboration: Communicates clearly and consistently with key departments such as Production, Quality, Procurement, Regulatory Affairs, and Commercial to ensure alignment and smooth operations.
• High Attention to Detail: Maintains precision and accuracy in developing production schedules and material requirements, reducing the risk of errors.
• Proactive Approach: Anticipates supply chain risks and operational bottlenecks early to implement preventive actions.
• Flexibility & Responsiveness: Adapts quickly to evolving priorities, regulatory changes, and shifts in demand within a dynamic pharmaceutical environment.
• Strong Time Management Skills: Effectively handles competing priorities across short-term and long-term planning needs, ensuring timely execution of supply chain activities.
