team of one of the world's largest E-commerce companies. This role is essential in ensuring seamless supply chain operations, supporting everything from demand planning to supplier payments for new site launches and retrofits across the EMEA region.

Key Responsibilities

Manage demand planning and process high-quality PR/POs on time

Oversee end-to-end material flow — from receipt through payment and budget closure

Resolve material escalations (e.g. damages, incomplete deliveries – ~150/year)

Investigate and close Claim as Delivered (CAD) disputes

Job Description:

The Supply Chain specialist (SCM) plays a critical role in the EMEA Startup Supply Chain (SSC) team by managing demand planning and inventory IOH/CAD/escalation process for new launches and REIs across the region. This role ensures supporting demand planning, material receiving in coupa, supplier payment, and budget closure.

Expected deliverables:

• Demand planning and Timely processing of purchase requests and high-quality purchase orders (PR/PO), support reporting and status on project health via KPIs
• Drive the end-to-end material receipt to supplier payment and budget closure for a green field or brown field site.
• Material Escalation (ME): Address discrepancies such as damaged, incomplete, or incorrect shipments. Manage annual escalations, ensuring 100% favorable resolution for Amazon.
• Claim as Delivered (CAD): Investigate supplier claims of shipped but undelivered goods, in disputes.
• Payment Resolution: Lead the "Invoices on Hold" (IOH) process, investigating pricing or quantity mismatches to resolve payments. Collaborate with AP, OpsFin, and GPO to reconcile disputes and ensure timely payments.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Effectively liaise with stakeholders, including startup project managers, and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders such as IT Supply Chain, GPLE and external suppliers.

Required qualifications/certifications:

• Degree in Logistics or Supply Chain Management or equivalent work experience in warehouse management with ERP / MRP systems. Excellent MS Office skills.
• Proven experience in supply chain management, demand planning, or inventory control, with a strong track record of delivering results in high-stakes environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage large datasets and derive actionable insights.

Overview
This role is responsible for leading the weekly Make planning cycle from materials requirements in Cairo capability center , creating and releasing the Material Plan for particular categories.

MRP plan will also need to be issued to the Bern Make planning Organisation on a agreed frequency.

Working with the Bern team, the individual will escalate any Make supply issue and support resolution, Monitoring and managing supply exceptions

Overview:

1- Data preparation

• Secure readiness and accuracy of all data needed for critical JDA updates (calendars, production rates, external forecast…)

2- SMR template / plan preparation

• Perform Cycle over Cycle analysis to understand changes from previous cycle
• Prepare SMR plan using Blue-Yonder S&OP standard template, applying all necessary configuration changes, capacity and supply overlays. Work on different scenarios to maximise supply and achieve KPI targets.

3- SMR deck preparation and handover

• Run first and second pass plan analysis to identify and solve issues upfront
• Prepare SMR deck as per standard template, including all visuals and actions/decision to make
• Lead SMR handover meeting to Demand Fulfillment and Capacity Planning teams
• Gather feedback from SMR and do the necessary preparation activities and system setup for the following cycle.

As we roll-out our Global IBP standards across the sector, this role will be key to transition preparation into O9 new system. Data inputs and overall preparation process will remain as per above.

Qualifications:

• University degree Operations/Supply Chain/Logistics / Engineering (preferred)
• Minimum 1 Year Experience in Supply Planning role (incl. inventory mgmt.)
