This is a full-time on-site role for a Maintenance Technician based in Cairo. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing equipment maintenance, troubleshooting issues, conducting preventive maintenance, and handling maintenance and repair tasks. Day-to-day tasks also include ensuring industrial maintenance standards are upheld and contributing to the overall efficiency and safety of the facility.

Job Description

• Carry out maintenance and production of all Plumbing items and in the facility.
• Keep the technical services workshop up and running.
• Care for and repair the plumbing items in the facility.
• Perform tasks assigned by his/her manager that are related to the department and position.
• Take part in any work that requires the full participation of the Technical Service Department.
• Replace any broken tab and other damage issue in bathrooms and public areas
• Work on a shift basis and start the shift on time.
• Keep the work space clean and ensure that it is cleaned after the work is complete. Must always look clean and proper and wear a uniform.

• Work according to the policies, procedures and instructions identified by the Chief Engineer.
• Take part in the Emergency Response Teams

• To predict that all activities and to be purchased all equipment and belongings may create disease for the environment, to join all activities which is organized to protect biological diversity and shares the responsibilities, shares the individual responsibilities in order to increase environment knowledge and to carry on necessary trainings. To provide minimum consumption currently used all stuffs and equipment (paper, printed out etc.).
• To implement necessary warnings and departmental trainings in order to save energy inside the facility. To carry on implementing decisions which were taken for saving energy. To predict effects of environment and efficiency of energy on purchased equipment.

Required Candidate profile

Candidate with 5–7 yrs in cotton spinning mills, hands-on with Rieter machines. Skilled in preventive/corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, logbooks, spare parts management

"-The mission is to to maintain, repair and perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities for Air Liquide installations and equipments across customer site,PG filling stations and truck bulk fleet (White part) as to achieve the performance objectives in terms of safety, reliability, and cost effectiveness, according to country regulation, Maintenance plans and Air Liquide IMS procedures.

• Responsible for performing all the scheduled phases of mechanical maintenance operations in efficient manner.
• Identifying and addressing issues in a timely manner, and continuously improving skills and knowledge.minimize downtime, reduce costs, and maximize productivity, while providing exceptional service and support to our customers.

• After each work execution, he manages intervention report signed by the customers and communicates with his direct manager to ensure quality and integrity of the data. "

Mechanical Technical Diploma or equivalent level of education.

10 years experience in Maintenance and Installations

Strong knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance methodologies

Technical understanding of gas physics and production processes.

Strong understanding of Safety procedures.

Knowledge of basic mechanical Measurement tools.

Technical understanding of machining & lathing works

CRYOGENICS and High pressure equipment (Pumps, Compressors,.Etc)

Good troubleshooting skills.
