Role Overview
We are seeking a Sales Assistant based in Egypt to support our CEO and client engagement efforts.
Your main focus will be client follow-ups, call scheduling, and maintaining communication in English and Arabic.
This is a client-facing position that requires a warm, polished presence and the ability to represent the company confidently.
Key Responsibilities
Follow up daily with the CEO's client portfolio via phone, email, WhatsApp, and other channels.
Make outbound calls and respond to inbound inquiries in English and Arabic.
Maintain accurate client records in our CRM (HubSpot).
Coordinate with internal teams to track proposals, meetings, and next steps.
Represent Smartt-AI with a well-presented, professional appearance and engaging personality during calls and meetings.
Requirements
Fluent in English and Arabic (spoken and written).
Well-presented and professional, with a pleasant, outgoing personality and excellent communication skills.
Confident speaking with senior executives and high-profile clients.
Strong organizational and follow-up skills; able to manage multiple leads at once.
Experience in sales coordination, client servicing, or tele-sales is a plus.
Comfortable working in a hybrid environment (remote + occasional in-person).

The Sales Assistant serves as a front-line representative for the showroom. Approaches and greets customers as they enter the showroom, answer basic inquiries, identifies the customer's need and direct them to sales consultants accordingly. She ensures a customer friendly environment with an exceptional customer experience.
Responsibilities
- Approach and greet showroom customers and determine the nature of their visit.
- Handle the sales deals (data entry of the customers).
- Prepare required sales activity reports and statistics in a timely and accurate manner.
- Make sure customers are seated comfortably and offer refreshments.
- Assign suitable sales consultant based on customer need and purpose of visit.
- Inform the sales consultant with the customer's name and needs.
- If no sales consultant currently was available, she apologizes to the customer, inform him/her about the expected wait time and quickly notify the showroom manager
- Record customer visits and walk-ins and report the data to the branch manager on daily basis. The branch manager compares the submitted walk-in report with the sales representative's walk-in records to monitor and track their performance.
- Handle phone calls directed to the showroom. Understand the customer needs and redirect the call to one of the available sales representatives accordingly. In case no sales representative is available, apologize for inconvenience and promise a call back.

General
- Conduct a daily detailed inspection of the assigned area to ensure the availability and positioning of price labels, product information tags, and other communication media.
- Review daily stock levels on all products in the assigned area and recommend orders to the Shopkeeper.
- Coordinate with Procurement Executive regarding stock information in the assigned area.
- Ensure customers are in focus, strive to make them smile, and meet and serve customers showing empathy and care while adhering to IKEA values.
- Engage in daily dialogues with guests to gather feedback on their experiences, understand their needs and wants, and take action based on this input.
- Prepare pro forma invoices by understanding and determining customer requirements.
