Job Description:
- Update and Report Shipments / Orders status information to team members to ensure adherence to time lines.
- Communicate issues and coordinate needs to assist, resolve issues.
- Prepare and ensure accuracy of bill of ladings, packing slips and all back up paperwork.
- Prepare Trucking documents to finance for invoicing and AP settle.
- Following & Tracking all orders to ensure they have been fulfilled from our warehouse, have been received by our shipping company(s) , and ensuring timely delivery to our customers.
- Following up with our shipping companies to solve any undelivered shipments to ensure a 100% Delivery Success Rate
- Contacting Customers who have RTO orders and attempting to re-deliver them again to the customer.
- Evaluate shipping options from various carriers and select the most cost-effective and efficient method for each order.
- Negotiate contracts and rates with shipping companies to optimize costs and service levels.
- Maintain relationships with existing shipping partners and explore opportunities for new partnerships.
- Monitor shipment statuses and address any issues or delays that may arise.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as Customer Service and Warehouse, to streamline the shipping process and resolve any order-related issues.
- Record the assigned transaction and or review recorded transactions inbound and outbound in the inventory records/system online base.
- Check the shipping company's returns and enter them into the warehouse
- Responsible for updating the status of the order on the system, whether the delivery has been made, postponed, or rejected, and taking appropriate procedures in each case.
- Re-enter canceled orders into the system again.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or related field preferred.
- Proven experience in shipping and logistics, preferably in an ecommerce or retail environment.
- ERP system ( oddo system ).
- Knowledge of shipping carriers.
- Problem-solving and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with the lighting industry is a plus.
