More About This Role
What you need to know about this position:
- Ensure compliance with Egyptian tax authority's payment dates.
- Review quarterly WHT Return.
- Review the Offshore WHT return.
- Prepare the Corporate income tax return.
- Prepare and review all tax audit requirements for (Corporate income, Offshore WHT, On shore WHT & WHT on Dividends)
- Prepare and review the required analysis/reports agreed with the tax regulations.
- Work/communicate with the tax inspectors and provide with all data needed the tax audit.
- Be a continues learner and provide the company with useful take aways from every and each inspection to be applied in the future.
- Ensure the recoverable WHT that are paid by customers are settled/accepted by the tax authority.
- Work on regional tax reports.
- Perform special projects and analyses as requested. You will also work with tax consultants to identify opportunities for tax savings.
- In coordination with other functions, provide the required GLs analysis that matches the company statutory financials and answer all questions/ queries might occur.
- Work with the corporate tax team to prepare the annual TP local file, prepare all the required analysis, provide supporting documentation as needed.
Education / Certifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
Job specific requirements:
- 6 to 8 years of experience in taxes.
- SAP Experience.
- Acceptable level of English (Writing & speaking).
- Good Team Player.
