Position Summary
The Physical Security Engineer will be responsible for the design, implementation, and delivery of physical security and Extra-Low Voltage (ELV) systems, including CCTV, Access Control, and Building Management Systems (BMS). This role requires expertise in conducting site surveys, creating CAD-based security layouts, and executing installations in compliance with engineering and project requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Design & Survey
- Conduct detailed site surveys for security and ELV projects.
- Develop CAD drawings and layouts for CCTV, Access Control, and BMS systems.
- Prepare design documentation, material submittals, and compliance reports.
- Coordinate with consultants and contractors to ensure alignment with project specifications.
Implementation & Installation
- Supervise and execute installation of CCTV cameras, access control, and other security devices.
- Configure and integrate security systems, ensuring interoperability with BMS and IT networks.
- Perform system testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
- Ensure installations meet safety and quality standards.
Project Support
- Support pre-sales teams with technical inputs, BOQ preparations, and solution design.

Job Requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Electrical / Electronics / IT Engineering (or equivalent).
- Minimum 2–4 years of experience in ELV, CCTV, or Physical Security projects.
- AutoCAD proficiency is required.
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong knowledge of CCTV, Access Control, Intrusion Detection, and BMS systems.
- Hands-on experience in site surveys, CAD drawings, and installation execution.
- Familiarity with networking basics for security system integration.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
