SWATX is looking for a Services Delivery and Managed Services Pre-Sales Engineer

The Managed Services Pre-Sales Engineer is responsible for providing technical expertise and pre-sales support for managed services solutions in IT Infrastructure, data center, cloud computing, networking, security, data and AI. This role involves collaborating with sales teams, engaging with clients, and delivering tailored solutions to meet business needs.

Key Responsibilities:
    • Work closely with sales teams to understand client requirements and propose suitable managed services solutions in IT Infrastructure, data center, cloud computing, networking, security, data and AI.
  • Conduct technical presentations and product demonstrations to prospective customers.
  • Develop and deliver delivery models to showcase service capabilities.
  • Assist in responding to RFPs, preparing proposals, statements of work (SOWs), and technical documentation, considering KPIs, SLAs and SLOs.
  • Advising and consulting in choosing the best technical tools required per use case.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless integration of solutions with client environments.
  • Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends in services delivery and managed services.
  • Build strong relationships with clients by providing consultative expertise and addressing technical concerns.
  • Support the transition of pre-sales solutions into successful service implementations.
  • Build the technical team and structure required for service delivery
  • Contribute closely with the recruitment team to hire and onboard the right delivery team.
Qualifications & Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in a pre-sales engineering role within managed services or IT solutions.
  • Strong technical knowledge of IT Infrastructure, data center, cloud computing, networking, security, data and AI.
  • Experience with IT service management (ITSM) frameworks such as ITIL.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.
  • Ability to translate technical concepts into business value for clients.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with sales, engineering, and service delivery teams.

  • Build and maintain talent pool for future openings.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or computer science.
  • 5 years' relevant experience in IT managed services and service delivery fields.
  • Project Management Skills: Experience in planning, organizing, and managing projects, including resource allocation, scheduling, and risk management
  • Strong Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with clients, team members, and other stakeholders.
  • Client Relationship Management Skills: Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships, understand client needs, and manage client expectations.

Certifications
