The Role: Service Engineer

We're looking for a hands-on, motivated Service Technician to support our growing operations in the MX3D workshop, including ~15 robotic systems in a manufacturing facility. This role is suited to a technical engineer with a practical mindset, who enjoys learning, problem-solving, and setting up and maintaining robotic welding systems.

This position is workshop-based and involves supporting all technical aspects of our in-house manufacturing/production and development activities. You'll work closely with our deployment and engineering teams and gradually learn how to keep the workshop up and running independently.

Responsibilities

You will take ownership of key workshop tasks, such as:

– Keeping the MX3D workshop operational, organised and reliable

– Troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues

– Wiring, assembling and maintaining robotic printing systems

– Supporting ongoing and upcoming MX3D printing projects and deployments

– Acting as the in-house technician

Your Profile

We're looking for someone who is:

– MBO-level trained in a technical field (e.g., Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Technology); HBO-level with a hands-on mindset is also welcome

– Handson and practical, with a proactive attitude

– Comfortable working with tools and light electrical work (or willing to learn)

– Organized, reliable, and able to take initiative

– Capable of supporting multiple small projects at the same time

– Fluent in English (Dutch is a plus)

Bonus Skills

– Experience with technical drawings or wiring diagrams
