4. IT Applications:

4.1. Supervise the supply and development of the systems and applications which are compatible with the business nature of the company and decide the time lines for implementing them and train the users for operating them.

4.2. Prepare technical studies for the company needs of programs and equipment's which are compatible with the company business.

4.3. Provide his/her technical opinion about the purchase of systems and equipment's which are compatible with operational tasks of the various departments and sectors of the company.

5. Information Secrecy and Security:

5.1. Prepare polices related to information secrecy and security systems in order to maintain and protect the information.

5.2. Supervise the process of designing the documentary circles for data entry and procedures of the work and document such procedures and decide the authorities that shall have access to such information and the rights of users and take necessary action to ensure confidentiality and protection of the information systems.

6. Technical Support:

6.1. Extend technical consultancy to the company departments and supervise training of users on the new systems and follow up solutions of all the problems that encounter the work progress.

6.2. Continuous supervision of the central computer (Servers), the network and technical support to ensure completion of the work in the best possible manner.

6.3. Direct supervision of IT systems of the company and their maintenance and extend necessary technical support for use by the employees.

7. Control and Monitoring:

7.1. Follow up performance through performance measurements and compare actual performance with the planned objectives and budgets and analyze reasons of deviations if any.

7.2. Control the use of IT means and company works and assets and ensue their best use and safety.

7.3. Supervise periodic inspection of the system and the network and periodic maintenance works.

7.4. Supervise the process of activation and monitoring of the company web site and develop and update the same from time to time.

7.5. Technical supervision of the IT specialist (systems administrator).

8. Reporting:

8.1. Review all the reports and ensure their accuracy and correctness to ensure their compliance with the company policies and measures.

8.2. Prepare periodic and annual reports statements and lists and all other required statistical data.

9. Communication and external relations:

9.1. Develop and maintain effective work relationships to ensure effective and quick flow of the required information and data in order to facilitate decision taking on time.

9.2. Establish and maintain business relations with IT companies and extend necessary professional and technical opinions while contracting with the IT companies and rank them.

9.3. Discuss and exchange ideas with other department managers for supplying all the equipment's necessary for the accomplishment of the work and supervise their development.

9.4. Coordinate business relations with other departments of the company and respond to their requirements of IT infrastructure.

9.5. Ensure enumeration and supply of all the company requirements of technologies, programs, equipment's and applications on time and maintain sufficient stock of the same.

Qualifications:

  1. Experience of (8) years in his field of work and at least (2) years out of which in a supervision job.

As a member of the IT Team, the IT Network & Infrastructure Supervisor will provide supervision for the IT Infrastructure team/systems, including new member mentoring/coaching. will work independently and as part of a team to answer service desk level 3 escalation tickets, analyze urgent technical issues, work with the IT manager on team-related projects, and conduct the troubleshooting over the phone, on-site, or via remote access if needed for both M&S and E&P entities.

Essential Functions (IT Network & Infrastructure Supervisor):

  • Maintain capacity planning for Infrastructure to ensure that the affiliate maintains a high level of security/data protection.
  • Manage, maintain, troubleshoot, and monitor WAN and LAN connectivity, routers, switches, firewalls, and network nodes.
  • Manage and maintain server infrastructure and cloud-based infrastructure.
  • Manage and maintain system backups, data protection, and DRP according to the company's relevant procedures/policies.
  • Manage and maintain Microsoft-related technologies (Windows Server, Exchange, SQL, SharePoint).
  • Manage and develop IT infrastructure, network, and connectivity setups for COCO and CODO stations.

  • Conduct forensic analysis of network, virus, and worm attacks to manage corporate firewalls, VPNs, intrusion detection & AMP (Advanced Malware Protection) systems, malware analysis systems, and all other security devices.
  • Conduct IT infrastructure projects to ensure that the best-practice security measures are applied during the design and implementation.
  • Conduct network security assessments to supervise backup solutions, disaster recovery sites, and business continuity plans.
  • Manage the antivirus environment to ensure that the enterprise and agent virus scans are installed and patched on all servers with versions.
  • Participate in the administration and maintenance of the remote monitoring and management system (update agent scripts, respond to alerts, monitor the dashboard, and periodically review the system).
  • Work with the internal team to engineer projects and identify new solutions to help the business.
  • Ensure proper documentation/diagrams for all computer systems and network infrastructure.
  • Provide periodical reports/statistics to the country IT manager concerning IT infrastructure systems and performance.
  • Be available for other team members and coach them to perceive the work environment.

Vendor Management:

This position manages the relationship with all external vendors, in accordance with our group rules.

Travel:

Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-the-area overnight travel may be expected.
