Responsibilities:
- Monitor, supervise and inspect ongoing construction activities at site to ensure that the work is being performed in accordance with IFC, Shop drawings and specification
- Inspects and approves incoming materials by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, and rejecting and returning unacceptable materials.
- Develop and implement Project Quality Plan (PQP) and procedures for construction projects.

- Manage and Witness all Trial Mix of Concrete Mix Design as per standards and specification.

- Review of ITP's monitor daily field construction operations to ensure compliance with approved Project/s Design drawings and approved Project/s Quality Plans.
- Arrange for approved 3rd party testing required as per the specification and Consultant's requirement. Monitor the testing and reports.
- Issuance of Internal NCR/SOR Quality observation for quality control as per standards, codes and specification
- Conduct workshops, trainings and internal audits to promote a culture of quality within the organization.
- Reports of on-site test and inspection will be kept in a form of approved format. All the test certificates and inspections reports including from suppliers and / or other testing agencies will be verified by the respective QA/QC Engineer. These reports and test certificates will be arranged and submitted to client or client's representative for review.
- QA/QC Engineer shall maintain a record of checklist whether the materials are received in acceptable physical condition, damaged, in conforming or non-conformance with the specification.
- Assist with snagging/de-snagging and final inspections and close out project paperwork and contracts.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in building science or civil engineering.
- Minimum
10 years
of relevant experience. - Comprehensive knowledge of Civil Quality Management.
