Engineer
to lead quality improvement initiatives for the produced models at our NMEG plant. This role ensures product quality enhancement, root cause investigation, countermeasure development including recurrence prevention, and customer satisfaction through cross-functional collaboration with Monozukuri functions (Manufacturing / R&D).
A Day in the Life:
- Drive quality improvement for produced models at NMEG plant.
- Grasp customer voice and dealer information from field and translate into sufficient technical report communicating with relevant functions requesting deep dive investigation and countermeasure development.
- Lead New Model taskforce activities from start of production till official judgement for closure.
- Consolidate and report functional dashboard updates on timely manner.
- Coordinate with Manufacturing, QA, R&D, and Aftersales departments to implement countermeasures.
- Lead Vehicle Level investigations of critical issues at Gemba Level.
- Coordinate, plan and participate in joint investigations with dealers, Manufacturing, Quality and suppliers.
- Communicate Technical Service Bulletins (TSB) and support process standardization.
Who We're Looking for:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Automotive Engineering is an advantage.
- 5-7 years of experience in automotive technical, quality roles and or production background for both manufacturing and supplier with strong hands on capabilities.
- Authentic knowledge of problem-solving methodologies and quality tools.
- Excellent Behavioral competencies which includes Customer Focus, Quality Mindset, Information Seeking, Planning & Organizing, Attention to details, Relationship Building, communication with impact and Analytical Skills .
