to join our team in Cairo. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all steel products meet internal quality standards, customer specifications, and industry regulations. This role involves inspecting raw materials, monitoring production processes, testing finished steel products, and working closely with production teams to ensure continuous quality improvement throughout the manufacturing process.
Responsibilities
:
· Perform inspections and quality checks on raw materials and finished steel products (e.g., beams, sheets, bars).
· Monitor production processes to ensure adherence to quality standards and specifications.
· Conduct tests such as tensile strength, hardness, thickness, surface finish, and chemical composition using appropriate testing equipment.
· Identify, document, and report non-conformances or defects; initiate corrective and preventive actions as needed.
· Interpret and apply industry standards (e.g., ASTM, ISO, AISI) to assess product quality and compliance.
· Maintain accurate inspection records and quality documentation for internal tracking and external audits.
· Collaborate with production, maintenance, and engineering teams to resolve quality issues and improve manufacturing processes.
· Calibrate, maintain, and operate laboratory and inspection equipment such as spectrometers, ultrasonic testers, micrometers, and gauges.
· Support root cause analysis investigations and lead quality improvement initiatives.
· Assist in internal and external quality audits, including preparation and documentation.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Sciences or related field
· years of experience in a quality control or inspection role in a steel or metals manufacturing environment.
· Strong knowledge of steel grades, specifications, and metallurgical properties.
· Experience with quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO/TS
· Proficient in the use of quality inspection tools and lab equipment.
· Familiarity with non-destructive testing (NDT) methods is a plus.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Attention to detail and high standards for quality and safety.
· Good communication and report-writing skills.
· Certification in quality or inspection (e.g., ASQ Certified Quality Inspector or NDT Level I/II).
· Understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles
· Very good command of English language
· Strong command of Microsoft 365 applications
· Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities:
- Monitor, supervise and inspect ongoing construction activities at site to ensure that the work is being performed in accordance with IFC, Shop drawings and specification
- Inspects and approves incoming materials by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, and rejecting and returning unacceptable materials.
- Develop and implement Project Quality Plan (PQP) and procedures for construction projects.

- Conduct workshops, trainings and internal audits to promote a culture of quality within the organization.
- Reports of on-site test and inspection will be kept in a form of approved format. All the test certificates and inspections reports including from suppliers and / or other testing agencies will be verified by the respective QA/QC Engineer. These reports and test certificates will be arranged and submitted to client or client's representative for review.
- QA/QC Engineer shall maintain a record of checklist whether the materials are received in acceptable physical condition, damaged, in conforming or non-conformance with the specification.
- Assist with snagging/de-snagging and final inspections and close out project paperwork and contracts.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in building science or civil engineering.
- Minimum
10 years
of relevant experience. - Comprehensive knowledge of Civil Quality Management.
