We are looking for a strategic and hands-on Quality Assurance Section Head to oversee all quality assurance activities within our manufacturing facility. This leadership role will be responsible for developing and implementing quality systems, ensuring compliance with international standards, and leading a team of quality professionals to maintain our reputation for excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Quality Assurance department, including planning, organizing, and directing all QA activities
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality management systems in accordance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and other relevant industry standards
- Establish quality metrics, KPIs, and reporting systems to monitor product quality and process performance
- Conduct regular audits (internal and supplier) and manage corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
- Review and approve quality documentation including specifications, inspection procedures, and quality manuals
- Lead root cause analysis investigations for quality issues and implement effective solutions
- Collaborate with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to ensure quality is built into all processes
- Manage customer complaints and non-conformance reports, ensuring timely resolution
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using methodologies such as Six Sigma, Lean, and Kaizen
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry safety standards
- Develop and deliver quality training programs for staff at all levels
- Manage quality assurance budget and resource allocation
- Represent the company during customer audits and certification body assessments
Required Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical, or related field)
- Master's degree in Quality Management or related field is preferred
Experience:
- Minimum 8-10 years of progressive experience in quality assurance within industrial manufacturing
- At least 5 years in a leadership or management role
- Proven track record of implementing and maintaining quality management systems
- Experience with ISO 9001 -ISO 45001-mplementation and auditing (certification as Lead Auditor is a plus)
Technical Skills:
- Deep understanding of quality tools and methodologies (Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, Statistical Process Control, FMEA, 8D, 5-Why)
- Proficiency in quality management software and ERP systems
- Strong knowledge of measurement systems analysis (MSA) and gauge R&R studies
- Experience with supplier quality management and vendor audits
- Familiarity with industry-specific regulations and safety standards
Certifications (Preferred):
- Six Sigma Black Belt or Master Black Belt
- ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or Certified Quality Manager (CQM)
- ISO 9001 Lead Auditor certification
- Project Management Professional (PMP) is a plus
