Job Description – QC Engineer (Interior Finishing & Fit-Out)

Position Overview

The QC Engineer will serve as the backbone of our interior finishing operations, responsible for ensuring that all works are executed in accordance with approved designs, specifications, and industry standards. This role demands a sharp eye for detail, strong technical knowledge, and the ability to enforce quality standards across multiple projects.

Key Responsibilities

Quality Control & Inspections

• Develop and implement quality control procedures for finishing works (marble, paint, woodwork, ceilings, partitions, MEP, etc.).

• Inspect site works daily to ensure compliance with approved drawings, BOQs, and material specifications.

• Check alignment, levels, joints, finishes, and detailing before client or consultant inspections.

• Verify material deliveries and approve/reject based on quality standards.

Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain daily QC logs, inspection reports, and snag lists.

• Ensure all checklists (paint, tiling, marble, carpentry, etc.) are followed and signed off.
