Working as part of a cross-functional team you lead the RDQ activities required to complete new product development and maintain portfolios and/or productivity projects keeping in mind the goal to deliver the desired consumer experience.

You will work independently to plan, lead and coordinate technical projects in line with RDQ, marketing and manufacturing requirements You will effectively communicate status and risks and plan, lead and coordinate pilot plant and factory trials in accordance with good manufacturing practice and HACCP requirements. In addition, you will plan, lead and coordinate development activities (e.g. product shelf-life testing, designing for quality, consumer test preparation. etc.). To provide direction for product development, you will use digital simulation models to obtain, understand and interpret consumer insights and commercial information. In this role, you will create and maintain accurate consumer-led specifications and be responsible for stakeholder management and influencing decisions based on conclusions made from analysis and interpretation of results.

+ You lead multiple complex development projects simultaneously to deliver product solutions aiming to sustain competitive advantage for our Biscuit & Baked Snacks (B&BS) brands, and are a key member of our R&D MENAP B&BS Team. You lead for each project all R&D activities needed to complete new product development, renovation, quality improvement, and business continuity & develop product bundles for short, medium and long term (always securing the desired consumer experience) **.**
+ You are, as well, a trusted R&D partner as part of the MENAP B&BS Team in our successful MENAP Business Unit.Being R&D's Senior Scientist II in B&BS, you serve as a consultant for many technical topics related to B&BS in our labs and plants, supporting our technical community to deliver B&BS that are highly desired by consumers.
+ You are Accountable for delivering complex technical R&D projects. You will work with cross-functional partners to define, initiate and lead development projects to successfully deliver business goals using technical rigor, consumer centricity and best practices while effectively prioritizing your workload. Influencing skills are important in this role because you will use them to educate project stakeholders about technical risks, ensuring mitigation plans, clear communication and understanding to allow for effective cross-functional decision making. You will also create and maintain accurate consumer-led specifications.
+ As a senior technical leader, you demonstrate high levels of technical rigor and expertise by tapping into internal and external resources to stay up-to-date on the latest best practices and to continuously identify opportunities for improvement, keeping in mind consumers' desires and needs. As a senior technical leader, you coach junior team members & others to ensure highest team performance, to grow capability and support career development.
+ As senior technical leader, you provide the BU interface with region and global R&D community of practice teams to ensure global platforms, expertise, insights, policies and best practices are shared with teams and support the MENAP BU Strategy.

+ 5+ years of experience in leading technical projects
+ Experience working in cross-functional, multi-disciplinary teams operating in a dynamic, outcome-oriented environment
+ Strong technical background and effective communication skills, including proven ability to influence senior stakeholders
+ Ability to coach on technical topics in a remote environment
+ Multi-disciplinary experience within R&D functions is highly advantageous
+ Good marketing and financial business acumen is highly advantageous
+ Fluent in English

Overview
Role to join the team pf the Security Solutions Organization (SSO) team at Mastercard delivers technology, products, and services that facilitate seamless, fast and secure payments across the network and the internet of things (IoT). These solutions leverage the latest technology, a vast array of data resources, and artificial intelligence (AI) to provide services that benefit the entire payments ecosystem.

The Specialist, AI Fraud & Security Solutions will to help customers see the full value of the SSO Artificial Intelligence suite of products by maximizing product usage through:
- Improved visibility of customers performance on risk management across portfolios
- Improved customer knowledge and understanding of Mastercard's fraud solutions
- Increased and optimized utilization of Mastercard's fraud solutions

The key responsibilities of this role include the following:
- Engage regularly with customers to capture their experiences with our services and identify opportunities for continuous improvement
- Analyze customer performance and trends for risk management KPIs
- Collaborate closely with product leads both regionally and globally to drive customer engagement and provide feedback to the product development and management teams.
- Identify areas of product cross sell among the suite of AI fraud solutions.
- Build case studies and reports at a regional level to incorporate in internal and external communications.
