Responsibilities

• Technically lead downstream projects and supervise process development and new methods.
• Responsible for overseeing and maintaining equipment and technologies.
• Demonstrate expertise in protein purification techniques (affinity, size exclusion, ion exchange, hydrophobic interaction chromatography using AKTA systems), filtration, and biochemical/biophysical characterization.
• Execute routine purifications and perform analyses (SDS-PAGE, SE-HPLC) to develop, validate, and transfer analytical methods.
• Support method troubleshooting and guides purification method development.
• Develop novel and standard purification processes (mg to gram scale) ensuring virus, endotoxin, host cell protein, and DNA clearance.
• Optimize process performance through small-scale and pilot studies, applying DOE.
• Assist in designing and optimizing downstream purification (ultrafiltration, chromatography, virus clearance).
• Perform routine purification and equipment maintenance.

1. Product Development & Improvement:**
