**Position Purpose**:
Provides high quality, on-time input to client projects in the life sciences field. Assignments range in complexity from basic analysis and problem solving to assisting in the development of more complex solutions. May serve as project leader for small teams or work streams.
**Principal Accountabilities**:
- Assists with the review and analysis of client requirements or problems and assists in the development of proposals and client solutions.
- Performs quantitative or qualitative analyses to assist in the identification of client issues and the development of client specific solutions.
- Assists in the design/structure and completion of presentations that are appropriate to the characteristics or needs of the audience.
- Develops complete client deliverables within known/identified frameworks and methodologies.
- Proactively develops a basic knowledge of research and consulting methodologies and the life sciences market through the delivery of consulting engagements and participation in formal and informal learning opportunities.
- Engagement based responsibilities are assigned and managed by Senior Consultants, Engagement Managers or Principals.
**Minimum Education, Experience, & Specialized Knowledge Required**:
- Bachelor’s degree of pharmacy or related medical field
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in pharmaceutical/ Life sciences market research or consulting industry
- Project management experience
- Knowledge in Healthcare and Pharmaceutical industry.
Expertise in MS Office tools particularly PowerPoint and Excel.
**Organization Reporting and Scope**:
- _ Typically reports to_: Engagement Manager or Principal for coaching and administration, project leader on engagements
- _ Management scope (number of full-time employees): _NA
- _ Annual revenue scope (If applicable) $M_: NA
- _ Utilization target: _85_-_90% (may include BD support)

Ortho Pricing Business Partner
Provides support and guidance to the business regarding strategic pricing priorities, to drive value-based pricing and to maximize the value of innovation, and lead all the pricing related tasks for Ortho Franchise.
**Main accountabilities:**
+ Pro-actively engage with Business partners and SAM teams, to provide support and guidance regarding strategic pricing priorities: to drive value-based pricing and to maximize the value of innovation
+ Lead multi-factor pricing analysis to identify and monitor the trends, root cause of profitability leaks, and/or price erosion and provide recommendations
+ Lead indirect tender submissions and support direct tender submissions for Ortho
+ Support business by seeking ways to drive a better product mix to improve profitability
+ Ensure continuity & accuracy & timeliness of monthly Price Performance Reports & Business Reviews
+ Ensure local pricing governance and EMEA pricing governance guidelines are followed
+ Drive price escalations as per guidelines and support the discussions by providing detailed price analysis considering key performance measures
+ Support Senior Manager Pricing & Tenders in developing governance and discount matrix models and frameworks to ensure pricing compliance and adherence to guidelines
+ Support pricing trainings to upgrade skills of S&M team to influence price decision making process in line with strategic priorities, to enhance product value understanding, to support correct product positioning and segmentation in the market.
+ Continuously improve pricing reporting and analytics: Maintain Power BI reports for pricing reviews and always look for opportunities to enhance the report & dashboards to provide greater visibility on business
+ Ensure Product database/ Price list is accurate and aligned with Regulatory inputs
+ Provide price change simulations during PL update process to optimize SGP through Price, Volume & Mix
+ Manage Cignon PL approvals in timely manner, ensuring prices are set within pricing guidelines
+ Lead/ Support P&T related projects, ensure requirements are well designed and inputs are provided on time.
+ Ensure Pricing SOPs are kept up to date
+ Ensure compliant pricing processes and SOX controls are in place and documented per requirements
+ Lead the regular maintenance of Price and Profitability Tool, and continuously look for opportunities for enhancements, to support decision making process
+ Train all AFA Tender module users whenever necessary and lead the change management for the stakeholders accordingly
+ Continuously improve the digital tools and reports, to support business stakeholders and to ensure all changing requirements are met
**Experience**
+ University/Bachelor's Degree in Finance/ Marketing/ Economics/ Business, or Engineering
+ Min 4-5 years related experience ideally in pricing, tenders, or finance in the region. Experience in Medical Device Industry or Pharma is a plus
+ Proficiency in MS office specifically advanced MS Excel knowledge
+ Proficiency in Power BI
+ Working knowledge of SAP will be an advantage
