**Department Overview**: The Pre-Sales Technical Architect role will form part of the International Presales & Strategy team to design and deliver complex mission critical voice and data systems in the Unified Communications space. The Pre-Sales Technical Architect will work in the pre sales phases of projects and may support multiple projects in parallel. There may also be a requirement to provide support to post sale activities or Centre of Excellence team.

The position acts as the owner of the technical solution for a customer design. **Responsibilities of the Pre-Sales Technical Architect include, but are not limited to:
- To sift through all customer engagement and be able to quickly identify key requirement concerns which will have a great impact on the solution design.
- Engage and address customer’s technical concerns and requirements comprehensively (hardware, software, interface and security) at both architectural levels as well as down to sub-system component levels.
- Liaise with our Product Development team by presenting the architectural and functional needs of the required solution and to secure product/solution commitments meeting customer’s delivery and implementation schedule.
- Provide technical leadership to and work with the engineering team for areas concerning system capacity sizing, coverage analysis, traffic profiling ensuring most effective design to address customer’s technical and operational requirements.

**Basic Requirements**:
**Educational Background**:
Graduate engineer from an accredited college or university. Degree, H.N.C, or equivalent in Telecommunications, Electronic Engineering, or related discipline.

5 years related experience in Sales / Pre-Sales environment.
