- Plumbing Engineer
with
3+ years of experience - Senior Plumbing Engineer

12+ years of experience
In these positions, you will be responsible for designing, reviewing, and coordinating plumbing systems for diverse projects. You will ensure the implementation of best engineering practices, compliance with codes and standards, and collaboration across multidisciplinary teams. Senior candidates will also provide leadership, mentoring, and technical expertise to junior engineers and project teams.
Key Responsibilities/Deliverables:
- Design, review, and coordinate plumbing systems including water supply, drainage, fire protection, and piping layouts.
- Prepare technical drawings, specifications, calculations, and BOQs for plumbing works.
- Ensure compliance with international and regional standards (e.g., IPC, NFPA, SASO, local codes).
- Collaborate with architects, structural, electrical, and mechanical teams for integrated design solutions.
- Review vendor documents, technical submittals, and shop drawings to ensure project compliance.
- Participate in site visits, inspections, testing, and commissioning of plumbing systems.
- For
Senior Plumbing Engineer
: - Lead plumbing design activities across projects.
- Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers.
- Manage project deliverables, timelines, and cross-discipline coordination.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Plumbing Engineer (3+ years):
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in plumbing system design and execution.
- Knowledge of relevant codes, standards, and design tools (AutoCAD, Revit preferred).
- Senior Plumbing Engineer (12+ years):
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (Master's preferred).
- Minimum of 12 years of extensive experience in plumbing system design, leadership, and project management.
- Strong expertise in large-scale building services and infrastructure projects.
- Proven ability to manage teams, coordinate with stakeholders, and deliver complex projects.
Language Proficiency Requirements:
- Proficiency in English (spoken and written) is required.
Knowledge and Functional Competencies:
- Strong technical knowledge of plumbing systems, materials, and codes.
- Proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and MS Office.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work effectively under pressure.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills for collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- For senior level: project leadership, client coordination, and mentoring skills.
