Responsibilities:
1-Health & Safety:
- Adhere to all Lafarge, H&S rules and regulations at all times and wear proper safety equipment while on plant grounds
- Fully committed and aligned to the safety rules, policies and annual H&S objectives set
- Clarify safety rules to the team members and make sure that all team members practicing properly
- Implement Lafarge Safety Standards and Integrate safety into all maintenance operations and ensure working conditions and safety at work (Lafarge employees and contractors).
2-Functional:
- Ensure mechanical repairs of mobile equipment are performed properly in compliance with company policies and manufacturer standards.
- Provide technical assistance for technicians in complex technical problems.
- Manage equipment repairs and report the results to the responsible departments as operations or maintenance.
- Investigate the root cause of failures and take actions to prevent re-occurrence.

- Cooperate with the other departments for PM activities outcomes and receive technical issues complains in order to plan and take necessary actions

What You'll Be Doing
In Manufacturing Engineering, we focus on:
- Create master data for NPD products. This is SAP data, PFMEA, C/T and FLOW analysis.
- Design for Automated Assembly (DFAA) – we design the product for Automation readiness and collaborate with R&D in making improvements for assembly.
- We focus on Automation. We want to raise the bar in terms of smart use of robots in manufacturing and smart designing.
- Develop the plan to build the area. This is Investment plans, layout and alignment with suppliers and internally.
- Ideas, concepts and solutions may be tested in our Automation Center.
Examples of possible projects:
- Update and convert value stream map into active Excel template. Analyze cycle-times to balance and define optimal flow for manufacturing area.
- Set up SPC (Statistical Process Control) for our TIM modules.
- Automize transport from label-placer to SMD lines with AGV (Omron).
- Develop downscaled production training cell in our Automation Center.
