: Electronics Maintenance Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Electronics Maintenance Engineer to ensure the optimal performance and reliability of our electronic equipment and systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of electronic assets, from production machinery and control systems to test equipment. Your expertise will be critical in minimizing downtime, improving equipment efficiency, and supporting our continuous operational goals.

Key Responsibilities

Troubleshooting & Diagnostics: Utilize schematics, multimeters, oscilloscopes, and other diagnostic tools to quickly and accurately identify the root cause of electronic malfunctions.

Repairs & Calibration: Repair or replace defective components, assemblies, and parts. Perform precise calibration of electronic equipment to ensure accuracy and compliance with specifications.

Installation & Commissioning: Assist in the installation, setup, and commissioning of new electronic equipment and systems, ensuring they are integrated seamlessly into existing operations.

Documentation: Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, parts usage, and equipment performance. Create and update maintenance procedures and troubleshooting guides.

Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability, reduce maintenance costs, and enhance operational efficiency. Participate in root cause analysis (RCA) of equipment failures.

Inventory Management: Manage the inventory of critical electronic components and spare parts, ensuring necessary items are in stock to minimize repair time.

Safety & Compliance: Adhere to all company safety policies, procedures, and industry regulations (e.g., OSHA, ISO standards). Ensure all work is performed in a safe and compliant manner.

Collaboration: Work closely with production operators, technicians, and other engineers to resolve issues and support production schedules. Provide technical guidance and training to junior staff.

Qualifications & Skills Required:

Associate's degree in Electronics Engineering Technology, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Equivalent military training or significant proven experience will be considered.

Minimum of (3-5) years of hands-on experience in maintaining and repairing industrial electronic equipment.

Proficiency in reading and interpreting electronic schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.

Strong hands-on skills with soldering, wiring, and using electronic test equipment (e.g., multimeters, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers).

Solid understanding of analog and digital circuits, components, and principles.

Experience with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and industrial control systems (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley) is highly desirable.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a methodical approach to troubleshooting.

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Electronics Engineering.

Knowledge of robotics, CNC machinery, or automated assembly systems.

Perform troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of industrial electronic equipment inside the lab (VFDs, Soft Starters, UPS systems).

Diagnose faults on electronic boards using testing equipment (oscilloscope, multimeter, component testers).

Repair and replace electronic components

Conduct functional testing to ensure the repaired devices meet performance standards.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electronics, Electrical, Control, Communications, or equivalent).

1–3 years of hands-on experience in industrial electronics maintenance.

Strong knowledge of power and control circuits related to industrial devices.

Ability to read and interpret electronic schematics and technical drawings.

Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.

Job Summary

The Electrical Engineer is responsible for:

• The efficient and timely preparation of accurate, high-quality electrical engineering design technical drawings using the relevant software, for large scale, and complex design projects, as directed by the Electrical Team Lead (Cairo)
• Carrying out all electrical analysis and designs in conformance with all required local and international design codes, design standards and codes of practice as directed by the Electrical Team Lead (Cairo)
• Coordination with of the drafting resources, and other resources required for completion of all drawings, specifications and bills of quantities
• Strong working knowledge of all required electrical engineering codes / standards, design and construction practices, and drawing practices for complex electrical engineering design projects

Critical outcomes of this role include; the production of accurate, timely and high-quality Revit (3D) and AutoCAD (2D) drawings for complex projects, and coordination of these drawings with all other required design disciplines such as architectural, electrical and electrical engineering and quantity surveying.

The role requires the building and maintaining professional relationships with internal stakeholders, other consultants, contractors, including coordinating with other Design Engineers, Electrical Team Lead (Cairo), and project managers to assist with submittal of overall project deliverables for concept, schematic, and detailed design stage submissions in line with planned project timelines.

Job Duties

For specific allocated projects, in coordination with the Electrical Team Lead (Cairo), manage, plan and carry out;

• Complex electrical engineering analysis, design and drawings, specifications and bills of quantities using appropriate analysis and design and drawing software, to the required quality project timeline, and design budget,
• Obtain all data and follow up with project managers, Electrical Team Lead (Cairo), other company staff, other consultants and contractors so that analysis, design and production of drawings, specifications and bills of quantities are completed in an accurate, timely manner, to the required quality,
• Establish and build professional relationships with other staff, other Consultants, contractors.

1. Implementing and updating specific and overall project electrical engineering designs, drawings, specifications and bills of quantities for multiple complex design projects and construction projects.
2. Assists the Electrical Team Lead (Cairo) on matters that cross between interfacing elements, projects.
3. Work proactively, constructively, and fairly with all parties to ensure the successful execution of duties,
4. Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as directed, and as may be appropriate.

Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree in electrical engineering,
• Registration with a recognized Engineering Professional Institution (licensed to practice electrical engineering), and,
• Specific training & qualifications in electrical engineering analysis and design including use of specific software.

• Very good level of competence in use of Revit, AutoCAD and other drafting software - preferred,
