CHILD SAFEGUARDING:
Level 3: the post holder will have contact with children and/or young people either frequently (e.g. once a week or more) or intensively (e.g. four days in one month or more or overnight) because they work country programs; or are visiting country programs; or because they are responsible for implementing the police checking/vetting process staff.
ROLE PURPOSE:
The Operations Officer will play a dual role in supporting the implementation of the PATHWAYS project activities at the community level and ensuring smooth operational processes. This includes engaging communities, promoting gender equality and adolescent SRHR, and managing procurement, logistics, and financial tracking in coordination with relevant departments.

Operational Support
- Support the development and execution of operational work plans in coordination with the project team.
- Manage procurement processes: prepare requisitions, ensure quality checks, and track delivery of goods and services.

- Organize and support field events, trainings, and workshops.
- Ensure compliance with SCI and donor procurement and administrative policies.
Capacity Building and Support
- Provide ongoing capacity building and mentorship to field teams, community mobilizers, and youth advocates.
- Collaborate with technical teams to ensure consistent messaging, alignment with national strategies, and the use of evidence-based approaches in community engagement.
- Ensure that community engagement tools and guidance are adapted for local contexts and responsive to community feedback.
Financial Tracking and Administration
- Maintain and update budget trackers, support budget forecasting and expenditure monitoring.
- Prepare and follow up on cash requests, advances, and settlements.
- Support partners in financial reporting and expenditure tracking.
- Ensure timely and accurate documentation of financial transactions.
Other Duties:

QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Social Sciences, Development Studies, or related field.
3–5 years of experience in community mobilization and/or operations, preferably in SRHR or gender-focused projects.

Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in Arabic and good command of English.

ROLE PURPOSE:
The Campaign Operations Officer is responsible for the day-to-day operational and logistical coordination of the campaign activities. Background information about the project:
Save the Children, in partnership with the Egyptian National Railway (ENR) and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), is implementing a multi-phase technical cooperation project aimed at enhancing railway safety awareness in Egypt. The project targets communities living near high-risk railway crossings, with a particular focus on children, youth, and vulnerable groups. Phase I of the project (18 months) focuses on two high-risk hotspots, with a potential expansion in Phase II.

Project Implementation & Coordination
- Support the development and implementation of local educational and awareness campaigns around rail safety.
- Coordinate campaign activities in selected hotspots.
