Job Summary:
The
Project Manager
is responsible for
overseeing the entire project execution, ensuring adherence to timelines, budget, and quality standards
. This role involves
coordinating efforts among engineering teams, managing risks, and communicating with all stakeholders

Responsibilities:

Project Management & Planning:

● Develop and oversee project execution plans from initiation to final handover.

● Ensure strict adherence to the project schedule, identifying and addressing potential delays.

● Implement risk management strategies to mitigate project challenges.

Team Leadership & Supervision:

● Lead onsite engineers and technical supervisors, delegating tasks effectively.

● Ensure all engineering activities comply with technical specifications and project standards.

● Evaluate team performance and provide guidance to enhance productivity and quality.

Coordination & Resource Management:

● Ensure the availability of materials and equipment by collaborating with procurement and logistics teams.

● Monitor resource utilization and provide periodic reports on project progress and costs.

● Manage and coordinate work with contractors and consultants, ensuring adherence to design and specifications.

Quality Assurance & Safety Compliance:

● Ensure that all project activities meet quality standards and health, safety, and environment (HSE) regulations.

● Conduct regular site inspections to monitor compliance with operational procedures.

● Address and resolve any quality-related or execution issues on-site.

Reporting & Communication with Management:

● Provide regular progress reports to the Operations Head covering project milestones, financial status, and challenges.

● Attend meetings with senior management, clients, and consultants to present project updates.

● Suggest improvements in operational processes to enhance execution efficiency.

Qualifications:

● Bachelor's degree in, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or Project Management.

● 10+ years of experience in engineering project management, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.

● Strong expertise in team leadership, operations coordination, budgeting, and risk management.

● Proficiency in project scheduling tools such as Primavera P6 and MS Project.

● In-depth knowledge of quality standards (ISO), safety regulations (HSE), and local/international engineering codes.

● Strong negotiation, problem-solving, and crisis management skills.

● Excellent communication and reporting skills for effective stakeholder engagement.
