- Provides technical support to the Mechanical Erection Lead and Site Construction Supervision team on issues related to mechanical engineering
- Coordinates effectively with other erection engineering disciplines
- Oversees the entire Technical Installation documentation review process within the mechanical engineering discipline
- Participates in internal and external meetings on issues related to mechnical engineering
- Ensures that review of the technical documentation provided by the mechanical engineering team is correct and according to applicable Codes and Standards
- Provides complete support to the client in preservation of Components in all activities at Site
- Communicates urgent/unresolved issues to the Mechanical Erection Lead
- Reports progress of performed activities to the Mechanical Erection Lead
- Participates in safety and hazard assessments for mechanical processes and systems
**Experience and Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent;
- 7+ years of experience in mechanical engineering on NPP construction projects. Nuclear experience is required.
**Special Job Requirements**
- Ability to communicate, influence and persuade;
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English are essential, understanding of Russian and/or Arabic is a plus;
- Ability to work effectively in a multicultural team.
