- Leading the continuous improvement of existing system design (Review and approve drawings and Bills-of-Materials for release)
- Coordinate feedback from other teams to continuously improve product designs.
- Participating in the quality objectives of the design department regarding minimum waste of raw material, decreasing manufacturing cost, and decreasing product man-hour to increase productivity
WHO YOU ARE:
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.
- 3+ years of experience designing mechanical components and systems from concept through production validation (Preferably an automotive background).
- Familiar with design for manufacturing (DFM) and different manufacturing processes, including machining, welding, etc.
- Strong knowledge of stress analysis software (SolidWorks simulation, ANSYS, ABAQUS, etc.).
- Strong knowledge of cooling systems, Hydraulic systems & Refrigeration.

Overview
Support the technical team in the bidding phase to get best quotes especially for generic materials.
Receive the technical team requests for quotations (RFQs) along with favorable payment terms and delivery time, shipping method, etc.

- Generate innovative design concepts and solutions, leveraging sketching, wireframing, and prototyping techniques. Create interactive prototypes to communicate design concepts and gather feedback from stakeholders and users.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, and marketers, to ensure a seamless integration of design across the product development lifecycle. Foster a collaborative and inclusive design culture within the organization.
- Define and enforce design standards, guidelines, and best practices to ensure consistency and quality across all product designs. Conduct design reviews to provide constructive feedback and ensure adherence to design principles and brand guidelines.

**Requirements**:
- Proven experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in product design, with a strong portfolio showcasing your design expertise and leadership abilities.
- Minimum of 2 years in a leadership role, guiding and developing design teams.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, or other relevant software. Experience with prototyping tools and motion design is a plus.
- Deep understanding and practical experience in user-centered design methodologies and processes. Ability to advocate for the user and translate user insights into design decisions.
