The role:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and adaptable Marketing Coordinator to support and manage day-to-day operations across various marketing functions. The ideal candidate is well-spoken and passionate about growth. This role will report to the Marketing supervisor and will be responsible for dealing with external agencies, conducting meetings, and conducting regular market visits to ensure brand presence and performance.
Key responsibilities:
Act as the main point of contact with external marketing and creative agencies
Organize and attend meetings with internal teams and external partners
Conduct frequent field visits to monitor market execution, collect insights, and ensure compliance with brand standards
Assist in the coordination and execution of marketing campaigns and activations
Track and follow up on agency deliverables and project timelines
Support internal communication related to marketing initiatives
Provide administrative and logistical support to the marketing team
Participate in brainstorming and ideation sessions
Key skills and experience required
· Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business, or a related field
· –2 years of experience in marketing, communications, or operations
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills
· Fluent in both Arabic and English (spoken and written)

Job Description
Main Duties:
To provide a courteous, professional, efficient and flexible service at all times, following Sofitel Cairo El Gezirah standards of performance, by e-mail, phone or in person.
To assist the Marketing Manager in developing and implementing effective communication strategy.
- To liaise with appointed advertising agency with design and lay out coordination and production of stationary, collateral, ads, brochures and graphics.
- To maintain the hotel library and photographic image filing.
- To track and maintain information about competitor's marketing and communication activities in Cairo market (promotions, offer, articles, advertising, collaterals) and to develop and update a filing system for all information.
- To track and maintain information on Food & Beverage trends and competitors activities.
- Act as the liaison between the hotel and the appointed PR agency to generate awareness and write ups of the hotel according to the marketing objectives.
To assist the Marketing Manager to create property sales kits and creative communication of worthy items with the advertising agency.
To assist the Marketing Manager to ensure adequate targeted publicity and coverage of the Hotel's positioning, promotional programs, corporate image building and other activities.
- To assist the Marketing Manager in developing sales promotions, with external partners such as embassies, organizations, credit card companies, banks, department stores, airlines etc.
- To ensure the hotel's web pages are up to date and advice on keeping site dynamic for Internet related exposure and advertising.
- To liaise with appointed advertising agency with design and lay out coordination and production of collateral, ads, giveaways and graphics.
- To ensure the correct policy and brand standards are followed by the hotel in all marketing collateral, advertising and eCommerce.
- Competitor Site Monitoring (ranking, pictures, contents, equipments, reviews…)
- Customer Feedback Follow-up & Response.
- Monitor and ensure up to date hotel information (contents, equipments, pictures) on public & pro sections.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in marketing or a related field.
- Experience in paid web and social media advertisements.
- A proven track record of launching and maintaining marketing efforts.
- A passion for writing and/or editing content for distribution.
