Job Summary

The Maintenance Engineer is responsible for executing preventive and corrective maintenance activities to ensure the optimal performance and reliability of plant equipment and facilities. This role supports the Maintenance Section Head and Principal by conducting troubleshooting, monitoring equipment performance, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives. The Maintenance Engineer ensures compliance with TPM, IATF, ISO, and EHS standards while contributing to reduced downtime, improved safety, and cost efficiency.

Job Description / Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance on assigned equipment and systems (mechanical, electrical, or utilities).
• Conduct troubleshooting and fault diagnosis for equipment breakdowns, implementing timely corrective actions.
• Support root cause analysis (RCA) activities and contribute to preventive measures.
• Monitor equipment conditions, track performance data, and suggest improvements to enhance reliability.
• Assist in planning and executing maintenance schedules in alignment with TPM methodologies.
• Document all maintenance tasks, failures, and corrective actions in ERP/CMMS systems.
• Follow safety, quality, and environmental standards (IATF 16949, ISO 14001, ISO in all maintenance activities.
• Collaborate with Production, Quality, and Engineering teams to resolve technical issues and support continuous operations.
• Provide technical input for new equipment installation, testing, and commissioning.
• Identify spare parts requirements and communicate needs to the Section Head.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or Industrial Engineering.
• 2–4 years of maintenance experience in the manufacturing industry (internship or rotational programs may be considered for juniors).
• Strong knowledge of preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance practices.
• Hands-on experience with equipment troubleshooting in automation, robotics, hydraulics, pneumatics, or utilities.
