Role Description

Responsibilities:

•Develop and implement loss prevention strategies and procedures to mitigate risks and prevent theft, fraud, and shrinkage.

•Conduct regular inspections of the store premises, including stockrooms, sales floor, and cash handling areas, to identify potential security vulnerabilities and take appropriate measures to address them.

•Monitor and analyze CCTV footage to identify any suspicious activities or unusual behavior, and take immediate action to prevent any losses or potential threats.

Qualifications:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Loss Prevention Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in protecting company assets by developing preventive programs, ensuring a safe work environment, and promoting a strong security culture across our branches.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement effective programs to protect company property and reduce/prevent all types of loss.

Maintain a safe and secure working environment in all store locations.

Raise awareness among staff about loss prevention practices and policies.

Collaborate with operations management to create and improve procedures for detecting, reporting, and addressing internal theft incidents.

Train and support store managers in all areas of loss prevention.

Coordinate with Legal, HR, and other relevant departments to take appropriate legal actions when necessary.

Conduct general and technical security training for employees, covering topics such as business ethics, workplace violence, surveillance systems, and inventory control.

Enhance facility security by selecting and installing surveillance equipment such as CCTV cameras.

Conduct on-site risk assessments to identify, categorize, and address potential security risks.

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or GED; 4 years experience in the security/loss prevention or related professional area.

OR

• 2-year degree from an accredited university in Criminal Justice or related major; 2 years experience in the security/loss prevention or related professional area.

Managing Security/Loss Prevention Operations

• Assists in the development and implementation of emergency procedures.

• Conducts investigation of all losses of property assets and refers to proper management for disposition.

• Deploys security staff to effectively monitor and protect property assets.

• Conduct periodic patrols of entire property and parking areas.
