CPS (Commercial Products Supply) is a key part of the Advantaged Supply Chain of the Technical Function of The Coca-Cola Company. CPS manufactures concentrates and beverage bases for sale to bottling partners all over the world. This global organization manages a network of 19 manufacturing plants in 18 different countries along with 2 office locations (Atlanta & Drogheda, Ireland). CPS also manages complex additional materials supply chains (e.g. juice, coffee, tea, milk, etc.) on behalf of bottling partners
The Cairo Inventory Specialist is a key member of the Plant Planning & Logistics team of Cairo and will be responsible for Inventory Management to ensure adequate monitoring of inventory KPI’s such as WOS, AOS, MRB and products freshness, as well as maintaining the SAP & WH technologies power user activities such as SAP WM, ITS Mobile and GLS.
This role oversees inventory analysis ensuring proper inventory levels and managing inventory at risk while also ensuring the plant has an updated planning parameters which reflect the desired inventory policy for each SKU or products/ingredients group. The Inventory Specialist will collaborate with a cross functional teams within the plant.
This role will also be responsible for monitoring the products freshness to ensure that products are available for customer orders with adequate shelf life.
**KEY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES**:
Collaborate with Master Schedulers to develop a written inventory policy for all F.G SKU’s whether at SKU level or Product Group level, ensure that this policy is reviewed and updated frequently, and any change is reflected in SAP planning parameters with clear business rational.
- Monitoring the Finished Goods WOS every week, and identify the top 10 SKU’s per MRP controller with high WOS value to be analyzed by Master Schedulers vs. inventory policy and ensure there is a clear narrative and corrective actions in place.
- Monitoring the Ingredients WOS every week, and identify the top 10 SKU’s per MRP controller with high WOS value to be analyzed by Vendor Schedulers vs. inventory policy and ensure there is a clear narrative and corrective actions in place.
- Reporting the plant WOS results for both Ingredients and F.G on monthly basis with trend charts, and supported by narrative for off-track records and clear corrective actions with assigned owner/s for each action.
- Monitoring the Age of Stock (AOS) report for ingredients and F.G every week and identify the missing information in SAP to be shared with the owners (CRM for F.G, MS for BCH and VS for Ingredients and packaging materials).
- Follow up with all stakeholders to submit the missing information of AOS before the next report run.
- Maintaining the governance of AOS routines through measuring and analyzing the conformance to standard (% of missing information in AOS report, % of actions completion on time, Cost avoidance in USD).
- Responsible for leading the Age of Stock meetings on weekly basis and share the summary of High/Medium risks with the stake holders (Finance, CRM, Planning and VS) and agree on the required actions to mitigate those risks.
- Responsible for maintaining the MRB routine to measure plants inventory losses driven by CPS activities, and follow up with relevant functions on the execution of MRB actions. As well as measure the plant inventory losses driven by a decision made by a BU or Bottler, and follow up with CRM and Finance on provisions submission and approvals are obtained from the relevant BU’s.
- Proactively identify and evaluate all finished products at risk (less 50% of remaining shelf life) to avoid obsolescence and to effectively manage inventory, to minimize negative financial impact across the total supply chain.
- Responsible for preparing and sharing the list of materials ready for destruction every month with the key stakeholders (QSE, Finance & WH) and follow up on the destruction report issuance and approvals.
- Responsible for write off of nonconforming items after ensuring all process steps and supporting documents were completed
- SAP Power User for Ware House activities through maintaining the following responsibilities:

Act as the main contact for ITS operations issues resolution. The TRADE Activity will achieve the following three Results:

- Ready Enterprises (NEEREs)(1) in the Selected Sectors.
Strengthened Public and Private Trade-Support Institutions (e.g., Trade Associations, Export Councils, etc.); and

***Primary Duties and Responsibilities**:
**OVERALL RESPONSIBILITIES**
Under the supervision of R1 lead, the supply chain advisor will provide technical assistance in supply chain management to all suppliers (SMEs) of anchor firms that are partners with USAID TRADE. The overarching goals are enhancing the suppliers’ overall competitiveness to meet the required standards of the partnering anchor firms, identifying opportunities for cost savings, and optimizing their supply management processes. A secondary focus involves coordinating TRADE's initiatives, acting as a liaison between Anchor Firms and Suppliers (SMEs). This coordination ensures the effective implementation of action plans and improvement programs, facilitating the seamless integration of suppliers (SMEs) into regional and global supply chains. Additionally, S/he will aim to align those suppliers (SMEs) with sophisticated export market requirements, fostering business growth, and fortifying their resilience in the face of challenging economic conditions.

- Support in fostering collaboration between Anchor Firms and the suppliers, and lead the creation of coordinated action plans for sustainable business growth.

- Conduct follow-ups with Suppliers (SMEs) to ensure the successful implementation of the action plans and associated work plans, in close coordination with Anchor Firms and the project’s team.
- Analyze data derived from Suppliers (SMEs) operations and processes, identifying bottlenecks and other challenges that may impede product delivery, client satisfaction, and international competitiveness.
- Devise cost-effective solutions for Suppliers (SMEs) to meet requirements of Anchor firms.
- Provide coaching and guidance to Suppliers (SMEs)' staff members, addressing matters related to operational efficiency, logistics, handling, health, and safety. This guidance aligns with established Good Manufacturing and Handling Practices (GMHPs) and Lean Manufacturing Principles.
- Evaluate and report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), offering insights to drive continuous improvement and strategic decision-making.
- Monitor logistics processes to ensure seamless operations, promptly addressing any issues that may arise.
- Maintain and regularly update supply chain records of selected partner Suppliers (SMEs) to reflect the latest developments and improvements.

**Required Qualifications**:
- Possess previous experience as a supply chain manager or in a comparable role within a prominent logistics, trading, and/or manufacturing establishment engaged in exporting and international trade (10-12 Years of Total Experience).
- Preferably, holding a degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Manufacturing & Engineering, or a related field, providing a solid educational foundation for understanding the intricacies of supply chain dynamics
- Demonstrate excellent knowledge of supply chain processes, showcasing a deep understanding of the complexities inherent in international trade.
- Exhibit practical experience with relevant Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, such as SAP MM, highlighting proficiency in leveraging technology for streamlined supply chain operations.
