Job Responsibilities:

• Design and architect cloud network solutions on platforms like **OCI**, AWS, Google Cloud, and Azure.

• Implement and configure key network components: virtual networks, subnets, firewalls, load balancers, and VPN gateways.

• Monitor and troubleshoot network performance and connectivity to ensure seamless cloud operations.

• Administer and maintain network and security infrastructure with regular upgrades and patches.

• Provision and support security components, including virtual firewalls, for robust network security.

Requirements

:

• Networking: CCNP Enterprise certification or equivalent, with strong expertise in network protocols, administration, and security.

• Network Security: Professional-level experience with Fortinet and Palo Alto, including firewalls, proxies - IDS & IPS, anti-virus software, and data encryption.

• Cloud Platforms: Proven experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and Amazon Web Services (AWS). Familiarity with Azure or Google Cloud is a plus.

• Cloud Networking: Excellent knowledge of cloud network architectures, cloud operations, and hands-on experience with virtual networks, load balancers, and Web Application Firewalls (WAF).

• Risk & Security Tools: Proficient in using risk assessment tools, disaster recovery planning, and computer forensic technologies.

• Certifications: Advanced certifications in network security and cloud platforms are required.

• Work Experience: A minimum of 2 years as a Senior Cloud Network and Security Engineer, and 5 to 7 years network and security engineering roles.

PURPOSE

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• • Provide L2 and L3 support for network-related issues, including troubleshooting and resolving complex network problems.
• Monitor network performance and ensure high availability and reliability of network systems.

• Implement and manage network security measures to protect against unauthorized access, vulnerabilities, and threats.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in network administration and support, with a focus on L2 and L3 support.
• Strong knowledge of networking protocols and technologies, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, BGP, OSPF, and MPLS.
• Experience with network security technologies such as VPNs, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and NAC.
• Proficiency in configuring and managing network devices from vendors such as Cisco, Juniper, PaloAlto & Fortinet.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex network issues.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Relevant certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, JNCIP, PCNSE or equivalent are highly desirable.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with network automation tools and scripting languages such as Python or Ansible.
• Knowledge of cloud networking and hybrid cloud environments.
• Knowledge of Versa networks and Paloalto.
• Knowledge of security networking, Hands on is a very much appreciated
• Familiarity with network monitoring and management tools such as SolarWinds, Nagios, . etc
