SAP has established strategic partnerships with the major cloud infrastructure providers, including Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP), to offer customers maximum choice for their SAP private cloud deployment.
The Cloud Architecture and Advisory Team is part of SAP Enterprise Cloud Services organization. Within this team we are looking for highly motivated and customer-focused team members to strengthen the Cloud Architecture & Advisory team (CAA) in EMEA. The Cloud Architect Advisor works predominantly in the pre-sales phase as a subject matter expert, acting as the primary point of contact for all technical topics related to the private cloud deployment from a customer perspective. It works closely with all the other internal SAP teams to prepare the customer for success on their cloud journey under RISE with SAP.
**EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS**
This is a customer facing role where you will support the sales teams during the entire cycle of a Cloud deal. Following are the key tasks that this role will perform:
1. Present in detail technical and operational aspects of the RISE with SAP Private Cloud.
2. Present the requirements and value proposition for SAP private cloud on hyperscalers like Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
3. Conduct technical assessment workshops with customers to define the future cloud architecture and plan the migration roadmap together with partners, System Integrators, and or SAP Professional Services.
4. Guide customers on non-functional capabilities such Business Continuity, Cybersecurity & Compliance, Networking, Technical Operations, and service consumption.
5. Work with other teams within the Customer success board area to generate pricing and provide ongoing deal support to sales teams.
6. Own the technical discussions with the customer and act as the orchestrator of experts to obtain expertise from the SAP delivery organization as required.
**EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES**
- Bachelor's / Master's degree in Engineering or Computer Science, Business Administration required from an accredited university.
- High proficiency in customer communications and presentations is required
- High proficiency in the SAP product portfolio, offerings, and industry solutions.
- Good understanding of SAP solutions (releases, platform interdependencies etc.)
- Good understanding of operational aspects (Application and Technical) of SAP solutions in a cloud environment.
- Good understanding of capabilities of at least one Hyperscaler (AWS; MS Azure or GCP)
- Ability and willingness to be part of a global team of Cloud Architects
- Willingness to undertake customer related travel on short notice
- Fluency in English & ARABIC is a MUST, any other language(s) like French will be an asset.
**WORK EXPERIENCE**
- 5 years of customer facing SAP Consulting / Presales experience.
- 5 years of solution design, enterprise architecture and or SAP implementation.
- Experience in a customer facing pre-sales role is an advantage.
- Experience and/or certification(s) with IaaS Providers (AWS, MS Azure or GCP) and data centres is an advantage.
- Cybersecurity & Compliance expertise is an advantage.

We are now looking for a Solution Architect, who will be responsible for analyzing, crafting and developing commercially viable end-to-end technical solutions for the customers. In this role, you will also be accountable for providing profitable business for Ericsson by translating customer needs, and technology opportunities into detailed technical offering, solutions and proposals!
**You will**
- Scope, define and craft solution offerings; driving technical solutions
- Running Customer engagements, Building Solutions on presales phase.
- Analyze customer technology, define business requirements and participate in risk analysis
- Work with core team on list of potential activities and solutions
- Develop technical presentations and proposals, and perform customer presentations
- Support deployment of solution.
- Support on Integration activities and taking the lead role.
- Provide feedback to R&D
- Participate in knowledge transfer, documentation and information sharing
- Stay abreast of on new technology/technical areas and share information about solution to enable customer competence build
**To be successful in the role you must have**
- Education: BSC in Computer science or telecommunication Engineering.
- Minimum years of experience: 7+ years in telecom industry for similar role.
- Domain: Packet Core native and virtualized systems, Clouds and IP networks.
- Good understanding of Cloud Native and 5G.
- Experience from work as an Integration Engineer.
- Knowledge of Ericsson Solution, vEPC, EPG, MME, PCRF, SAPC.
- Cisco, Juniper, F5, Fortinet Knowledge
- Experience with Openstack, Kubernetes and Docker.
- Experience on Scripting and python.
- Sophisticated routing understanding and network security Knowledge

Responsible for the overall High/Low Level Design and working configuration for the network security capabilities that support reliable and secure hosted and collaborative services across the whole Vodafone business, mainly focused Data Center and Office network environments.
Assure the Integrity, Confidentiality and Availability of the NSE networks in Europe, supporting effective end-to-end view on security aspects of the mobile and fixed services as well as their configurations and designs.
