Required Technical Skills
- Strong experience with Linux server administration (RHEL/CentOS/Oracle Linux/Ubuntu).
- Experience managing application servers (Oracle WebLogic, Tomcat, OHS) and deployments.
- Solid knowledge of web servers and proxy/load balancers (Apache, Nginx, F5 or HAProxy concepts).
- Backup/restore technologies and DR planning experience.
- Monitoring and alerting tools (Nagios, Zabbix, Prometheus + Grafana, or similar).
- Virtualization and hypervisor experience (VMware, Hyper-V) and basic cloud exposure (AWS, Azure) — desirable.
- Scripting and automation: Bash + at least one higher-level language (Python, Perl) and IaC tools (Ansible, Terraform) — desirable.
- Basic networking understanding (routing, switching, DNS, TCP/IP, SSL/TLS).
- Familiarity with authentication systems (LDAP/AD), and security controls.
- Experience supporting enterprise applications and integration with databases (coordinate with DBAs).
