**Nature & Scope**:
The role of the position holder will be to oversee the development and implementation of projects under the Bank’s Industrialization and Export Development Initiatives with support from the Director, Export Development Finance.

**Responsibilities**:

- Originating and completing commercially viable transactions in the extractive industry across all segments in different member countries in liaison with the branch teams and with support from the Head of Project & Asset Based Finance
- Evaluate and appraising proposals from clients requiring financing in the Extractive sector and giving feedback with the aim of making the transactions bankable
- Structuring projects, developing and negotiating term sheets to execution
- Participate in the preparation of annual business development plans, in relations to extractive projects
- Translate business development plans into real business for the Bank from all segments of extractive market
- Developing, marketing and managing products cutting across multiple segment in the extractive industry
- Manage given portfolios, from the process of origination, credit approval and contracting to ensure that the process is finalised within optimal time
- Supporting the credit department with relevant information to facilitate the credit process and the legal department in the facilitation of transaction documentation
- In line with the above, liaise with the Banking Operations department to ensure that once approval is obtained, disbursement is done within the required timelines and that the portfolio is managed according to the terms of the agreement and to the client’s satisfaction, until expiry of the same
- Establishing ties with market participants including international banks, African financial institutions, (project finance intermediaries), project sponsors and developers, corporates and commodity boards and organizations
- Train and equip the Client Relations Team on products for the extractive sector so that they can market it and look out for opportunity for Afreximbank to intervene
- Any other duties as may be assigned by senior management

**Requirements**:Qualification and Skill**_ _**
- Post graduate degree in Business Administration, Banking or Finance from a recognized University
- A professional qualification in Banking or International Trade Finance will be an added advantage
- Sound experience of at least 8 years with a leading organisation and familiarity with the major trade and project finance products to be offered to clients especially syndication, co-financing, club deals, correspondent banking products including letters of credit, factoring, forfaiting, structured trade finance, carbon financing, corporate finance risk participations, project-related financing and considerable knowledge of how these work
- Ability to communicate and function in a culturally diverse and change oriented setting and therefore knowledge of the workings of the main segments of the trade finance markets and the participants in major regions of Africa
- Ability to meet senior officials of banks, corporates and governments and win their confidence that the specialist’s products will meet the needs of these parties
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English & French. Knowledge of the Bank's other working languages is an added advantage (Arabic and Portuguese)
- Willingness to travel extensively and to work long hours where required in order to achieve the Bank's objectives
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities, including ability to organize and manage human resources to attain goals

A Maintenance Engineer is responsible for all maintenance issues within the hotel to deliver an excellent Guest and Member experience while performing daily checks, repairing equipment, and coordinating renovation projects.
**What will I be doing?**
As a Maintenance Engineer, you are responsible for all maintenance issues within the hotel, daily maintenance checks, and repairing mechanical equipment to deliver an excellent Guest and Member experience. A Maintenance Supervisor will also be required to coordinate renovation projects and develop emergency programs. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
+ Responsible for maintenance issues within the hotel
+ Perform daily checks around the hotel
+ Conduct lift emergency release procedures as required
+ Diagnose, maintain, and repair mechanical equipment within the hotel
+ Ensure good relationships are built with internal and external customers
+ Maintenance of all hotel fixtures and fittings to ensure they are in safe condition and take action when any unsafe situations arise
+ Develop, implement, and direct all emergency programs
+ Develop, implement and manage energy conservation programs for the property to minimize expenses
+ Coordinate renovation bidding, define the cost and scope of the project, and oversee the general contractor and subcontractors to ensure quality work is performed cost effectively
+ Perform special projects and other responsibilities as assigned
+ Responsible for the health and safety of the hotel
+ Ensure monthly safety inspections take place and employees are trained accordingly

Job Description
**POSITION SUMMARY & KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:**
+ Position responsible for installation, maintenance and repairs on equipment within an assigned territory/region to assure continuity of customer operations and high levels of customer satisfaction.
+ Responsible for ownership of customer problems or incidents until the situation has been resolved to the customers satisfaction and or in compliance with agreed upon Service Level Agreements.
+ Required to perform work on products and services of low complexity, specifically financial/ATM products; Make minor repairs and replace components on Tier I equipment such as PCs, workstations and peripherals, printers, front-end POS systems, Second Line Maintenance on ATMs and kiosks, and single pocket proof encoders.
+ Responsible for assisting in site preparation, including installation of cable, staging of equipment, and minor testing of equipment; May also perform required modular swaps and unit replacements.
+ Customer Engineer responds to all customer concerns or problems by resolving them or by escalating them to the proper associate, team member, territory manager, or the Control Tower.
+ Build working relationships with customers and develop informal communication channels with customer account at the local level; Represents NCR in a manner that reflects positively on the image and reputation of the company.
+ Performs periodic preventative maintenance on assigned products; Diagnoses problems, makes minor repairs, and replaces components (at the module level); Follows appropriate security procedures when working with ATM's and or within financial institution.
+ Responsible for all NCR assets that will be used in the delivery of customer services (i.e. tools, software, vehicles, documentation, and intellectual property), or as assigned by management; Maintain an appropriate parts inventory as well as parts record keeping.
+ Responsible for accurate and prompt reporting of calls and activity, as well as other reporting as required; Responsible for tracking and reporting all expenses incurred in the delivery of services, including telephone, private automobile, and/or public transportation.
+ Responsible for capturing detailed customer asset information and other data required to complete any invoicing or billing activities.
+ May be dispatched daily on a call-by-call basis or may establish his/her own daily schedule on the basis of automated reports.
+ May require prolonged travel, carrying and lifting tool kit/parts of varying weights (1- 50 lbs.); May require bending/squatting, walking/standing /sitting for prolonged periods; May be required to work on rotating shifts.
+ Ensure staff productivity measures are achieved; Work together with Call Center Staff via PDA to recover machines; Work together with Security Escort Officer.

**PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:**
+ Ability to work with Microsoft Office
+ Experience on Windows operating systems required
+ Experience in PC Hardware Maintenance and support
+ Degree in Electronics, Engineering, or a technical field
+ Previous experience in NCR or similar equipment is a plus CCNA preferred
