Responsibilities & Duties:

The IT Supply Chain and Finance role delivers and supports the business's Supply Chain and Finance technology product portfolio and roadmap. This position works at the intersection of business and technology to define strategies that combine a deep understanding of business objectives and challenges with hands-on contribution to technology solutions, extending into development execution, value realization, and ongoing product management.

The role also participates in setting the strategic direction for Supply Chain and Finance technology applications, as well as executing relevant IT deliverables and digital capabilities in close collaboration with internal business and technical stakeholders, external technology partners, customers, and suppliers.

  • Lead design and application development efforts using an approach focused on validating business impact, applying agile principles, and optimizing end-to-end business processes.

  • Partner with Supply Chain, Finance, and IT architecture teams to define, map, and execute system and process architecture within the overall IT landscape.
  • Act as a trusted advisor and technical expert to senior Supply Chain, Finance, and IT leadership throughout all technology application lifecycles from inception to value realization.
  • Collaborate with business teams to ensure applications support business growth, measurable KPIs, user-friendly and reliable systems, and excellent support operations.
  • Participate in managing vendor relationships to influence successful Supply Chain and Finance roadmaps and ensure technology partners meet business needs.
  • Bridge the gap between technology applications and business requirements, fostering collaboration to deliver strategic, best-in-class solutions.
  • Work closely with business and technology partners to develop roadmaps, prioritize features and releases, and assist in execution.
  • Embrace Agile principles, lead sprint planning and backlog refinement, ensuring efficient and successful application and solution delivery.

Role Requirements

Academic Education & Professional Certifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related domain. Master in Business Administration or related field is a plus.
  • 8+ years of progressive business technology experience in the domain of IT Supply Chain and Finance.
  • 4+ years of people leadership experience in building, managing and developing high performing teams.
  • Certification and / or proficiency in project management.
  • Certification and / or proficiency in IT development methodologies.
  • Certification, working knowledge, and / or familiarity with cloud computing and Software as a Service (SaaS) platforms.

Job Description

Cemex Egypt is looking for a highly skilled Management and Financial Services Manager to join our Finance team in Cairo, Egypt.

Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Management & Financial Services Manager to lead and oversee key financial functions across our Egypt and UAE operations. This senior role reports directly to the CFO and plays a vital part in ensuring financial integrity, governance, and strategic insight. The ideal candidate will bring deep accounting expertise, regional experience, and strong leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead financial reporting and consolidation processes aligned with IFRS.
  • Oversee accounting functions, including general ledger, fixed assets, and Capex.
  • Collaborate with external auditors for the issuance of financial statements.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and regulatory standards.
  • Supervise treasury operations handled by the dedicated treasury manager.
  • Manage insurance programs and implement risk mitigation strategies.
  • Provide direct strategic support to the CFO through financial analysis and business evaluations.
    Mentor and develop the finance team across Egypt and UAE.

  • Proven people management skills, including leading large, diverse teams across functions and geographies.

  • Strong leadership and cross-functional team management.

  • Expert knowledge of IFRS and technical accounting.
  • Analytical and strategic financial planning capabilities.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and standards of accuracy.
  • Assertiveness, ownership mindset, and strong execution discipline.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Fluency in English, both written and verbal.

  • Minimum of 14 years' progressive experience in finance and accounting.

  • Advanced computer skills, including professional use of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook) and strong financial modeling capabilities.
  • Proven expertise in financial reporting, consolidation, and compliance.
  • Demonstrated success in audit and regulatory environments.
  • Professional certifications preferred (CMA, CFA, ACCA, or equivalent).
  • Familiarity with SAP EBR or similar ERP systems.
