**Main Job Purpose**:
To plan, coordinate and execute the maintenance activities of the Factory
**Job Summary**:
- Ensure that all the safety requirements and measurements are followed.
- Manage the factory Utility assets in a safe, environmentally sound and efficient manner.
- Ensuring that all employees under their control are aware of their individual responsibilities tasks and targets for health and safety.
- Raising the efficiency of equipment to produce products with high quality
- Managing the engineering and maintenance resource in support of plant safety, quality, cost and efficiency goals.
- Increase the availability of machines with high performance
- Support and participate actively as a WCM steering committee and support the factory improvements efforts.
- Assess the pending maintenance jobs, priorities and plan for the maintenance technician.
- Advise the spare part requirements for the Engineering Stores
- Undertake the Engineering improvements projects for the Factory
- Decrease maintenance cost by:
- Studied modifications of weak points
- Improved maintenance plan
- Develop programs to improve the technical skills, efficiency and effectiveness in the Maintenance.
- Supervise and ensure that the maintenance team is performing by the required standards.
- Assess the technicians in the trouble shooting whenever necessary.
**Key Competencies & Skills**:
- University degree preferably in Mechanical Engineering
- 0 to 3 years of engineering experience in a similar field
- FMCG/Manufacturing background is a plus
- Fluent in English

+ Execute specific equipment maintenance for each asset involved with containing, controlling or safeguarding a high hazard process.

+ Monitor capitalized repair and replacement projects, mitigate risk issues, and removes barriers to ensure completion of milestones within budget.
+ Partner with vendors and handle contracts related to asset improvements and new asset project activities.
+ Ensure the ongoing mechanical, electrical and structural integrity of plant equipment.
+ Lead and execute quality maintenance planning.
+ Independently solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.

**Autonomous Maintenance**
- Set production line lubrication map & plan.
- Run audit on the execution of lubrication log (monthly)

- Set plan for production line autonomous maintenance (Inspection, Lubrication, Tightening)
**Trouble shooting**
- Lead on the production line major breakdown trouble shooting (30 min+)
- Develop the root cause analysis for major breakdowns
- Coach Shift leader & operate maintain operators on production line troubleshooting
**Preventive maintenance**
- Set actions for corrective & preventive maintenance for production lines as per RCA.
- Follow up & run audit on PM compliance for production lines.
**Planned maintenance/overhaul**
- Run the assessment, set & execute production line planned maintenance schedule
- Prepare the list of spare parts needed & ensure parts availability before maintenance activities.
- Set PM action plan with timelines & accountabilities. (maintenance and production)
- Assign and coach production team in planned maintenance
- Ensure Implementation of CQV to enable line restart in a stable condition

- Develop critical spare parts lists & follow up on availability
- Order spare parts needed for maintenance activities (overhauls, interventions.etc) in alignment with R&M & working capital budgets.
- Receive on SAP and inspect on all spare parts as per technical requirements.
**With own team**
- Act as on boarding buddy/ lead for the newly appointed mechanical SME / PM Techs.
- Coach & train mechanical SME across maintenance activities & tasks.
**Others**
- Act as a circle leader as part of the PM agenda in plant.
- Meet the set KPIs for all plant’s audit (AIB/TPM/GESMS).
**Measures (TBC)**
- Line True efficiency & Net Efficiency.
