Job Summary
Senior Account Manager of E-commerce and Digital Marketing
will lead our direct-to-consumer digital channels. This role is central to the company's growth, responsible for managing and optimizing all online sales platforms, developing and launching a new mobile application, and spearheading a comprehensive loyalty program. You will play a pivotal role in shaping our digital strategy while ensuring a seamless and engaging experience for Al Ahly fans and customers.
Key Responsibilities
E-commerce Platform Management
- Oversee the day-to-day operations and strategic direction of e-commerce accounts on major platforms.
- Manage product listings, inventory, pricing, and promotions to maximize sales and profitability.
- Analyze sales data, market trends, and competitor activity to identify opportunities and optimize performance.
- Handle logistics and customer service inquiries related to third-party marketplaces.
Website & Direct Sales
- Manage and enhance the company's official website as a primary sales channel for Al Ahly fan products (shirts, jerseys, souvenirs, shields).
- Ensure a user-friendly, visually appealing online shopping experience from product discovery to checkout.
- Plan and execute digital marketing campaigns (SEO, SEM, social media ads) to drive traffic and boost conversion rates.
Mobile Application Development & Management
- Lead the planning, development, and launch of the
El Qalaa El Hamraa mobile app
. - Collaborate with internal teams and external developers to create a fan-first hub for engagement and sales.
- Oversee the creation and integration of a new mobile game, ensuring alignment with the Al Ahly brand.
- Monitor app performance, updates, and user feedback for continuous improvement.
Loyalty Program Management
- Design, launch, and manage the company's loyalty program to reward and retain Al Ahly fans.
- Drive enrolment, participation, and repeat purchases through targeted strategies.
- Analyse program data to understand customer behaviour and optimize effectiveness.
Strategic Planning & Reporting
- Develop and implement an integrated digital strategy covering e-commerce, mobile, and loyalty.
- Monitor and report on KPIs for all digital channels, providing actionable insights to senior management.
- Stay ahead of trends in e-commerce, digital marketing, and fan engagement to ensure innovation and competitiveness.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Digital Media, or a related field (Master's preferred).
- Minimum
7 years of proven experience
in e-commerce and digital marketing, with at least 3 years in a managerial role. - Strong track record of managing client accounts, driving digital campaigns, and achieving measurable results.
- Solid experience in e-commerce platforms, website management, and digital advertising.
- Knowledge of mobile app development processes and loyalty program management.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable strategies.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
