**Your Job**
The Architectural Design Manager is a highly skilled hybrid technical sales position and is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys selling beautiful high-end products! With a technical mindset. This position is responsible for visiting, promoting, and handling complex sales activities in Egypt's architecture/design and construction industry, including but not limited to visiting Architects, Façade consultants, developers, and main contractors to support our activities in the AME.

**Our Team**

Our team focuses on driving facades opportunities to our partners. We meet with architects, facades consultants, and glaziers to assist them on projects.

**What You Will Do**
- Track the most recent market intelligence information about key regional client accounts (largest developers/investors, architects, and cladders)
- Define a priority plan including the industry's key players within the region and expand the business network while maintaining existing relationships.
- Identify construction projects in the inception phase and gather information about the players involved (e.g. General Contractor, Owner, Cladder, Architect) and assess the scope of the project (e.g. product type -, volume, and future potential of the account)
- Contact and offer to collaborate with Architects to qualify the project by determining its scope: product type (value-added and high value-added products)
- Monitor the conversion rate for the leads transferred to the Territory Sales Management team.
- Conduct educational sessions on glass technologies.
- Collaborate with Architects to draft glass specifications by:

- Supporting Architects in solving potential technical processes by involving the Technical Support Team.
- Requesting and overseeing sample delivery
- Exchange in specifications and drawings process of each aspect of the project related to the facade, resulting in the final design ready for bidding

**Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)**
- Background in business, engineering, architecture or relevant work-related experience
- Proven sales experience in the B2B environment, preferably within the building material industry in cooperation with architects and aluminum contractors (Glass/Façade preferred)
- Strong and effective communication skills, including verbal, written, presentation, and negotiation
- Project Management, prioritization, and decision-making skills
- Self-starter mindset, entrepreneurial spirit, able to work in a team environment to support the business and strategic goals
- Fluent in English

- Sales experience and technical expertise in coated Glass products and aluminum systems construction
- Strong technical knowledge in the glass industry and technologies.
- Comfortable reviewing architectural plans and details.
- Experience with the specifying process from inception to completion.

Requirements
Personal Skills - Bachelor's degree Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a related field. - 2-5 years of professional graphic design experience. - Strong portfolio showcasing both digital and print design work. - Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects). - Experience in motion graphics and video editing is a plus. Technical Skills - Strong attention to detail, creativity, and ability to think visually. - Excellent communication and time management skills. - Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. - Excellent command of English Education - Bachelor's degree in Marketing

The successful candidate for this position will be a key part of the Engineering Team and will be responsible for project and construction management of industrial development including new builds, retrofits, expansion, and program initiatives from site selection through contract execution. Construction Managers are responsible for construction of new Fulfillment Centers (FCs), Sortation Centers(SCs), Delivery Stations ( DSs), and auxiliary buildings that support those facilities as well as renovations & tenant improvements at existing buildings.
Construction Managers will also handle the implementation of the facility network infrastructure; including The construction projects include new builds, retrofits, and expansions. Construction Managers are required to perform detailed deep dive reviews of job budgets and programs to identify and resolve any discrepancies, including information in contractor bid packages. Construction Managers will partner with internal customers and external stakeholders such as consultants and contractors to earn their trust and engage as a team to deliver the project in the most efficient manner. The Construction Manager will serve as Amazon's representative and direct point of interface with Developers and General Contractors, as well as the primary integrator between construction and other Amazon stakeholders responsible for equipping, furnishing, and operating our FCs. This opportunity combines construction engineering, planning, project management, facilities management, and contract management.

Key job responsibilities
- Responsible for project management over new construction of Fulfillment Centers throughout the AMET region as well as renovations and capacity improvements within existing facilities.
- Advise on the impact of changes in schedule, costs, and permitting.
- Support construction scope review and development with internal technical teams and operational customers to facilitate engineering and design efforts on new and remodel projects.
- Responsible for managing multiple projects simultaneously, from relatively small renovations to large-sized ($100M+) new facilities.
- Work independently in the assigned regional area with minimal direction from leadership.
- Prepare reports, specifications, technical analysis to fully define the design requirements, equipment and services required on capacity expansion and remodel projects.
- Negotiate contracts and contract changes with developers and General Contractors, and present formal documentation for approval when required.
- Provide overall site management, coordination, planning, specification of business proposals, and coordination of subcontractors.
- Assess project performance through Key Performance Indicators for safety, quality, cost, schedule, and sustainability.
- Partner with teams tasked with transition of base building management and oversight of all turnover documentation.
- Review of designs and ongoing construction for conformance to current building specifications.
- Provide critical review of current design standards to identify value engineering and design enhancement opportunities to be considered by internal engineering and schematic design partners.
- Receipt, review, and analysis of all proposed cost and time change requests as presented by external project teams.
- Review and guide internally requested changes for validity, impact, and ensure timely and cost sensitive incorporation once approved.
- Lead or assist in negotiations with appropriate regulatory bodies and Authority Having Jurisdiction entities as required.
- Positive, clear, concise, and transparent cross team communication for all aspects of project delivery.

Each day you will represent Amazon GES in ensuring the successful delivery of Amazon construction projects, while strategically improving its processes, H&S, and sustainability performance. You will be leading and mentoring large cross-functional teams as an expert resource to complete construction projects. You will be the Subject Matter Expert in your engineering field providing clear guidance in regards to technical solutions, their cost impact and risk imposed on the project's safety and delivery.
