Job Description:
• Manage, plan, and execute complex mechanical engineering tasks (HVAC, fans, pumps, plumbing)
• Prepare detailed designs, drawings, specifications, and bills of quantities using appropriate software
• Ensure deliverables meet project quality, timeline, and budget
• Gather and verify all required data from project managers, consultants, contractors, and internal staff
• Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate completion of deliverables
• Build and maintain professional relationships with team members, consultants, and contractors
• Assist the MEP Team Lead and other designers in developing and implementing mechanical designs
• Participate in and contribute to value engineering and design optimization
• Develop and update mechanical engineering designs, drawings, specifications, and BOQs for multiple projects
• Support the MEP Team Lead on interdisciplinary and cross-project matters
• Work in a proactive, constructive, and fair manner with all involved parties
• Perform other duties as assigned and appropriate to the role
Requirements:
• Experience: 5-10 years of related work experience in a relevant engineering background with design consultants
• Bachelors Degree in mechanical engineering
• Design experience on large complex building projects
• Proven experience in design drafting using Revit and AutoCAD
• Training & hands-on experience in HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical system design
• Familiar with current mechanical engineering technologies
• Strong knowledge of international engineering standards, safety, and quality
